Fits 1982 John Deere 750 but problems
I used this on a John Deere 750. It fits but there are some problems. First and most important, the factory shrink wrap packaging is MUCH too tight. It smashes the Rubber nipple on top and damages it. Mine was crushed and looks like it might have torn.Second, the new bottle is not the same size or shape as the original. This one is about 4 inches taller, and round all the way down. The original had a tapered lower third. I had enough space that the new bottle fit.The top opening is larger on the new bottle, so the cap will not fit on an old bottle, it just falls off. On the plus side the bottle does have the tapered lug on the side to fit in the bracket on the tractor. This is not shown in the pictures but it's there.
