This Is the Apex Pre-Built- Fight Me!
I don't spend the time to review my purchases unless a product earns it. What I mean is, if the product is good enough to warrant my time, I break out the marathon review to encourage everyone else to pick one up for themselves. Conversely, if a product earns it in the other direction, I'll roast it like a Thanksgiving turkey... and this one? It stormed the gates and planted the flag in 5 star territory and sits back encouraging all challengers to step forth and try and take the title. The CIDOO (Epomaker) V87 is that keyboard- the one I tell other boards to live up to before I toss them back in the drawer. I've owned and reviewed a serious number of mechanical keyboards. This is the best of the best. Period.Let's talk build. The CNC aluminum body on this thing is a slab of perfection. Dense, smooth, flawlessly finished, and it gives you that reassuring sense of permanence the moment it lands on your desk. The gasket-mounted design combined with the "poran" foam gives it a quiet, shock-absorbing bottom-out that feels tuned by people who actually type. You don't just get keystroke quality here. You get keystroke authority.Functionally, it's a triple-threat: Bluetooth, 2.4GHz, and wired USB-C. All three modes are reliable and easy to switch between. Battery life holds strong even under heavy use, and the rotary knob has the right resistance with no wobble- unlike cheaper knobs that feel like loose dials on a toy radio. I absolutely love the hidden space behind the cat head to hold the dongle when not in the computer. It's just cool, though not sure where the cat comes from, maybe CIDOO means big cat in some language that escapes me. Maybe the cat is just a symbol for stealth and yep, the space underneath the cat after you slide it out oozes stealth. The south-facing RGB is vibrant without bleeding into absurdity. Finally, someone got it right. A south facing RGB with retro style key caps that don't look stupid. Sure, shinethrough might be having a moment but I would abhor shinetrhough on this moderized throwback style. This is perfect, just the way it comes.Now. Is VIA support everything it could be? No. I'd be lying if I said it was as effortless or deep as I would like. But it works, and once you map the board how you like, it stays put. This minor software friction is the only thing that doesn’t scream luxury. Still, the overall package is so elite that not even that can knock a star off.You could spend twice as much on boutique builds and even 3x on some exc essively curated custom parts and not get close to this out-of-the-box experience. If you care about sound, feel, connectivity, and build- and you don't want to build your own from scratch- this is where your money belongs.Pros:All-metal chassis feels sturdy, no... it's elite!Gasket mount with poran foam delivers deep thock and comfortSouth-facing LEDs avoid interference and look cleanTriple-mode wireless is rock solidRotary knob is smooth and secureSound profile is tuned and satisfyingCons:VIA support feels underwhelmingSlight learning curve on initial keymap setupHot Take:I've used dozens, if not hundreds of boards and most never make it to review. Yes, I said hundreds. I have a keyboard problem that I'm not happy about. That said, the CIDOO V87 is not one part of that problem, it's actually a the solution. Get this and you don't need anything else. Problem solved. It gets the full write-up and a standing ovation. It's not just premium- it's top of class awesome. You want better? Start soldering, because nothing off the shelf beats this beast.

Great for Modding, Amazing quality for price
I Love this keyboard base. Its got a good weight. I love the clean design it doesn't scream gamer and it has almost a Modern yet Retro design to it. It feels good and looks good and it being wired or wireless, although I do tend to stick with Wired personally. This is a great option if you are looking to customize and change the switches and keys. Its a Great keyboard to get for Modding keyboards

Short battery life, poor quality cable
Cable started showing issues within 2-3 weeks, failing to connect. Battery life is low, around 2-3 days max. Everything else is good.

Finally...There is order in the universe.
I'm Sooooooooo HAPPY!!! ....Finally I found a company "EPOMAKER" that has exactly the type of intelligently designed keyboards (60% 70% 80%) and the number pads I've been looking for. The build quality and the sound of the keys is EXCELLENT! But the BEST part is they are both 2.4 GHz RF...YEAH!!!, and not just that sorry ass bluetooth crap. I seriously don't understand why most other keyboard makers aren't doing it this way. I ordered the V21 and the EK 21. They will go perfectly with my Epomaker CIDOO V87 and Lemokey L3 QMK keyboards.

Good… but not that good
It’s a good keyboard with a good thonk, but the lack of customization whether it be macros or ARGB makes it a hard ask for this price. The “customization” software via doesn’t do anything and you need to jump through some hoops to get it to even recognize the keyboard. Additionally within a few months of using it I noticed that some of the leds became discolored. I don’t mind that much because I keep it on white and the discolored yellow ones don’t look all to different.Good for quiet typing, it’s pretty heavy since it has a large battery in it and it’s multifunction usb/bluetooth/adapter is very useful when switching between different machines.

Worth every penny, only one problem.
This keyboard is awesome and if you're looking at this keyboard because it checks all your boxes for features then just ADD TO CART. I have just one complaint. Why doesn't this come in Black?????

Needs improvements.
The caps lock has a tiny, almost invisible, white light when it is on. This keyboard has a red light bar above the arrow buttons, which is always on. It would have been better to utilized this bar to show whether or not the caps lock is on or off.The software is really poor and confusing. I am unable to adjust the keyboard lights to my satisfaction. I bought a number pad separately, which needs its own USB slot. It would have been so much better if the keyboard would have had a USB slot for the number pad, so the settings could have been the same for both items.

Short Battery Life
Beautiful keyboard - heavy (in a good way), feels durable, has a wonderful aesthetic, and the audible key clicks are almost meditative. My only complaint is the short battery life.I’ve had this keyboard for exactly two weeks now and as of today I’ve already had to charge it 3 times. I use it off and on throughout the day for work (Monday-Friday) but no more than 4-5 hours/day at the absolute most. I know I can just keep it plugged in via the cable but had really preferred the Bluetooth capabilities to keep my work space free from cable clutter.
