We bought this after our existing tomtom constantly keeps trying to send us down unsuitable roads when towing our caravanYou enter the combined length, width and weight of your tow vehicle plus trailer. It then finds suitable roads for your combination. It also displays the maximum speed limit for the road you are on, and as you are towing, this is often lower than the national speed limit for cars.It's based on an android operating system, so it also doubles as a functional tablet device too when connected to WiFi. It has Internet and app functionality.Why not 5 stars? The map display is not as clear as tomtom. Live services require the device to be tethered to a mobile phone, so will use data. I don't find it quite as intuitive as tomtom either, but that's probably just practice.The unit also comes with a dash cam that connects separately to the side of the device. As we already have a dash cam fitted, I have not used it. Also included is a good screen mount, a usb charging lead, ( I had to buy a seperate cigarette type charging lead for our car) and a mains charger.On two trips so far, it has not let us down with suitable routing.

This did exactly what it says on the tin, having just bought a motorhome we wanted to have the best options of routes open to us avoiding any unncessary hazzards en route. Well worth paying the extra money to get everything you need a sat nav
