I bought this as a gift for my father who is a woodcarver and woodturner. He loves that is it small and portable, but also powerful. The bits are of good quality and perfect for detail work.

I was going to use this to shape an art-piece poured from grout. Granted sandless grout is basically like concrete--- quite hard. I chisel shapes the edges well--- so actually; not THAT hard (hardness wise-- not difficulty wise). The bits didn't do the job. Prob works great on wood?? But it isn't really meeting my needs.

the battery doesn't seem to last long. I do alot of engraving so it's worked hardware with 36 attachments plus cutoff blades and drill bits . Overall very happy

First of all let me say that the only directions that came with the product were explaining the led settings. No instructions on the bits and other accessories or how to install them. Secondly and most importantly this Item is not powerful enough to do anything of use. It barely could drill a small hole through very thin plastic with out getting stuck. I don't know what this product was designed for but it is not useful for doing simple art and crafts. I ended up spending a little bit extra on a real rotary tool. I only gave it a one star because it looks nice and fits in your hand well.

Very convenient and great for easy travel. Product does not come with instructions but for the most part it’s pretty easy to self learn. Battery life worked longer than expected; stencil are a major plus and you can’t beat all the interchangeable heads and blades it comes with. It’s compact style can in handy for weekend project this week and allowed me to engrave without having to bring out a huge Dremol. Love it!

It was nice and easy to hold. That said, it did not have an engraving tip. It had pointy tips but they weren’t sharp enough to scratch a stainless steel place card. I purchased it to engrave little stainless steel signs for my garden. It just was not very powerful. I could hardly feel the change in speed of the vibrations going from low to high.

Works very well, a better case would have been appreciated to hold all of the small tips
