Hiking bag
Prefect size for kiddos 5-8. Light weight and holds enough water for a very long hike. Plenty of storage space too

Good option for play
My son wanted a camelback to play with and this was a great cheaper option. Definitely on the smaller side though and the mesh cup holders on the side are too small to fit a kids water bottle (good thing you can fill the pack up with water). It’s a fun little bag and served our purpose but if you are looking at it for a long hike, maybe go with the real thing instead

Perfect water backpack for kids!
This is a fantastic little backpack! My 2 year old absolutely loves it! It's the perfect size for both of my boys - holds their water (of course), some snacks, and sometimes a Lunchable. We love taking them to the zoo so everyone has they're own water and can even carry their own snacks. Neither of my boys have had any issues with them.

Mold growing in the bladder
The media could not be loaded. So, my 5 year old has used this about 5 times now for hiking. Great size, fits snacks, water bladder, and all the rocks he can carry.***ISSUES***1. There are little velcro hangers inside to hang the bladder, came and not useable.2. After the 2 d use... The cap broke off to protect the mouth peice for drinking. The issue is not the user, it's how it was designed. The cap is ridiculously hard to remove. These other issues were able to be delt with but the 3rd issue is not good.3. After just 5 uses I noticed mold (pink) which is NOT good growing inside the tubing and the bag.I have owned many a bladder in my life and left water in it overnight and NEVER had pink fuzzy mold growing inside. I've tried cleaning it out (using a sanitation technique) as I do my other hiking bladders, and no matter what I do it keeps coming back.I will no longer be using this bag as it is contaminated and a health concern. I have reached out to the seller. Sadly from China... So, I guess you get what you pay for on that front.I do think it's a decent bag for his first hiking pack but for what I payed (knowing it's from China and is made for a cent on the dollar) I'd expect the bladder to be viable longer.
