This absolutely works, we've not had cats in our garden since it was installed. We've actually not had friends or guests over either as the tick tick tick sound is quite loud and like a form of torture. It seems to be going off constantly which makes me fear it can see the ghost of a cat. Either that or its defective.I have another repellent which has a volume control which I've come to really love after having this unit.If you absolutely hate all living things being near your home, this is the item for you.

I purchased the Cat Deterrent, and I must say, I'm quite disappointed with its performance. It's a two-star review from me.Firstly, the device seems to have a mind of its own. It randomly triggers even when there's nothing crossing its path. This erratic behavior not only defeats the purpose of conserving battery power but also creates unnecessary noise pollution in my garden. I was hoping for a more precise and efficient cat deterrent.Secondly, the issue of rapidly losing charge is a significant drawback. Given that it's solar-powered, I expected it to function reliably without constantly draining its battery. However, with the random triggers, it ends up using power unnecessarily, making it ineffective in the long run.I really wanted this device to work, as I have had issues with neighbours cats in my garden, but unfortunately, the Cat Repellent's inconsistent performance and quick battery drain have left me frustrated. I'll be looking for a more reliable solution to keep those pesky cats away from my garden.

Brought this product for my sister, her garden was over run with cats, constantly using her plant pots as a toilet, now the cat's avoid her garden.

Triggers continually during the day.At night not a problem.Not sure how long the battery will last with it going off all the time during the day, but haven't seen the cat recently (which is why I bought it)

It constantly goes off during the daytime even without any motion. The noise is very annoying. At night time it seems effective, only activating with motion. Since it’s been on, we’ve had no intruders into the garden so seems to work. Unfortunately cannot give more than 3 stars due to having a migraine!

I've had this working on my lawn for the last three weeks. Before this, I was finding cat poo everywhere on a regular basis. Stopped completely now. Very happy.

Initially seemed very effective and importantly stopped the cats making a mess in my garden.....however, it seemed to go off constantly when there wasn't any apparent reason for it to do so and then packed up after 4 weeks. So ultimately a complete waste of money!

I had high hopes for them to solve my cat problem.There’s not enough sunlight in Scotland in September for them to work for more than three or four hours a day.
