Just what I was looking for!

Yay! Finally got a halfway decent, easy to clean recycling bin that fits a corner of my kitchen and matches my countertop. Very nice sleek design and never smells.

Great little food waste recycling caddy for the kitchen. I used to have a similar council supplied bin but it was much bigger and taking up too much space, so I then bought a fancy looking metal one with a lift off lid which had holes in it and a mesh filter which was always a pain in the butt, because a) I often couldn't open it with one hand and b) fruit flies could get in through the holes in lid so I've had an epidemic of fruit flies this summer because of this other pesky bin, which was also metal and just started rusting all around the rim and lid! Awful design. I finally got rid of it and got this little bin which just opens and closes properly with a nice sealed lid when shut so the flies can't get in. Is a decent size but also being small forces you to empty it more often which stops it getting too smelly! Game changer - wish I'd chucked the other one out months ago! I just use standard kitchen caddy compost bags from the supermarket which are quite big for it but it means you've got plenty of bag to tie off easily once you remove the full bag.
