This is awesome for first time knife users - it's sharp, durable, and compact.I know you may be tempted to put this little knife in the hands of your toddler, but I would advise against it. Sure the tot might look adorable with their tiny digits wrapped around the handle and who doesn't doesn't think kids with scars look cool, but you're asking for trouble. Because next thing you know, they'll be asking for a machete (and no one under five years of age should ever handle one).

Outdoor Edge system is the best replacement blade system. You will not break the blade like happens with other brands, I know because I have. There is no pocket clip, but the knife is very comfortable in the pocket. It fits nicely in the hand and it does all the EDC chores.
