Using it live for 6 months
Love the Deluxe 65 pedal. It freed me from a modeling pedal and now I use this as my amp on my pedalboard for Electric and lapsteel. Always sounds like an amp in the house and feels great.

Solid Preamp Pedal
Sounds close enough to a Deluxe Reverb but the boost channel is a little off, but that’s what overdrive pedals are for right. Still gets the job done and definitely would recommend to someone looking for a front of house pedal board setup.

Very Torn!!!
So let me preface this with saying that I may update this in the future. I plan on requesting a replacement. The hum, hiss, and overall noise on this unit is worse than most tube amps I've played while playing single coil pickups. That being said, I don't know if this is an overall flaw, or if I just received a faulty product. Aside from that, it would be nice to see a firmware update that actually added the vibrato from the original amp. The title of this review was so named because the realism and overall tone and options are amazing. I've played many amp pedals or so-called amp in a box units, but if these issues are fixed I can honestly say that this is the best amp pedal I have ever heard.

Really great little preamp
This box makes all my guitars sparkle the way I want them to. My Gretsch has a wonderful sound to it that I haven't gotten before and my Les Paul has brightened up as well

Terrible cleans for an amp that models a deluxe reverb
I have been looking for an “amp in a box” pedal and was really intrigued by how affordable this one was. I play mostly clean indie rock music, with lots of reverb and chorus etc., so I was super excited to try a pedal that was modeled after a reverb 65, since they’re known to be the best amp for clean tones, but this pedal does not fit that bill. I tried it both via the cabinet modeler into my Scarlett solo, the regular output into my small tube amp, and direct usb into my DAWS, and no matter how you try, it’s output won’t be loud enough unless the gain volume is at a point where you get breakup, and not good overdriven tube sounding breakup, but weird digital breakup. If you plug distortion or OD pedals into it and want that sound, it’s okay with that distorted fuzzy sound, but that’s not what someone buying this pedal is likely going for. I’m wondering if they put the wrong electronics in the pedal since I know that the other pedals in their ampworx line are modeled after more overdriven amps. Looks like I’m back to saving up for a higher priced pedal!

Its OK. Thats about it.
I bought this as a preamp interface with mixer. We do closed rehearsals (headphone). Its adequate. You really cant expect to get a tube sounding amp without tubes. Thats why we spend big bucks & carry those monsters around. ATA case adds #s.The reverb sounds like the spring box on my fender twin & deville. Eq controls are adequate. The overall sound is missing that “syrupy” sound that tubes produce. The gain is definitely fender 100w solid state. Hissy static. Good luck. For the price point it works as a medium function interface. Cheers!
