Vivifying Cat Cone, 7.2-9.0 Inches Lightweight Plastic Elizabethan Collar for Cats, Mini Dogs and Rabbits (M,Black)

Bought a size M for a full size domestic cat and fits perfectly and covers what it needs to. I resorted to the cone after previous vet visits and a full MONTH of kitty scratching open a neck/throat wound. I was hesitant to go to a cone (vet as well) given the location of the injury. But after many diy attempts to keep her from getting at it, steroid cream, and sock “snoods”, I caved and stuck her in this cone. She doesn’t love it but doesn’t hate it either. She can drink (might need to raise her food bowl) with it and it’s so nice and lightweight. Her throat wound appears in undisturbed for 2 days which is a miracle. It feels more secure than the one they offer at the vet with poppers, Velcro is brilliant.

I needed a collar after my cat had neck surgery (she managed to lick around the wound and cause an infection). Although it does its job, the fabric around the edge of the collar gets messy really easily (cat litter sticks to it when she uses the tray and when she eats even food gets on it). I have to remove it when I feed her to stop it from getting dirty.I’ve also noticed she gets her claws stuck in the same area around the edge as well (although this has happened only a couple times).Good collar, does the job.

My cat was injured and was provided with a collar to wear by the vet. It was very hard plastic and difficult for her to rest her head when laying down.I purchase this one and she is so much more comfortable. Its made a great difference to her relaxing, while injured. 100% recommend.

There were so many of these to choose from. Some seemed flimsy some some rigid. I tried for somewhere in between. However, it was a lot more severe than I expected and trying to get it into a come shape was almost impossible. I would say it would be okay for a dog, but not a soft cat

Very good collar, size wise if you are buying for a cat get a small size regardless of the size of your cat/kitten it will fit don't get any bigger.

This was the only cone option that agreed with my cat, tried a few but the rest freaked her out. It was also deep enough, which is what I needed. The only problem is the fabric padding, which gets dirty with food and litter, and I had to cut it out. The velcro is great to be able to put on on and off (to clean), but the sound scares her a bit, and it also gets dirty...But have to balance the pros and cons.
