Really nice cut off in my projectors
They lit the road so far ahead I didn't think I needed to turn on my high beams early one morning. Unfortunately I didn't see the deer until it was too late. It really was over so quick I'm not really sure the high beams would've helped much. I felt like the mounting setup is a bit cheezy, but right in line with the low cost. If I decide to convert the replacement car, I will look for more of these to fit it.

Look at my pictures - Shockingly Bad
I was expecting a much better product and light output from the description and the other reviews....I've uploaded four pictures the first two are with both of the headlights one halogen and one Mars Auto from each side of the the truck. Then there are two photos one with the halogen covered and one with the Mars Auto light covered. The Mars Auto barely throws any light down range it might look bright in front of the car and on your garage door at about 10 to 20 ft but when it's 35 or more feet away it doesn't provide light for driving.Very bad light pattern very little light to see while driving. If I hadn't had the halogen on the left side, I could have been in an easily been in an accident. The halogen is distinctly yellowish, significantly brighter, and clearly has a lot more light further away..I am returning my Mars Auto lights because they are clearly NOT nearly as bright as the OEM original halogen.A waste of time and money to get these

So Bright!
So I installed these as the low beam bulbs on a 2007 Chevy Colorado and holy cow they are bright. It has been about a month and they are still insanely bright. I keep getting flashed for people thinking my high beams are on. Install was easy they work great, now I just need to adjust my headlights a bit.

2016 Jeep Cherokee
This does not fit my mother's jeep cherokee due to the securing clip not fitting with the vehicles stock part. When I used a canbus decoder, it was not turning on at all. I was hoping these would be brighter than the LED's I bought off of HID Nation, but I can't even tell. I tried giving MARS a shot with my 2018 Accord also, similar result. They lost me as a potential customer due to messing up 2 vehicles 2 purchase years apart. It's unfortunate.

Depends what your needs are ...too bright!!
I drive on highways a lot , and at night truckers go crazy asking me to switch to low beam with their lights!! I then proceed to switch to high beams , just to show I was always on low!! These are very bright and at a very good price at the time of purchase!

Better have complete access to headlight rear housing.
I just installed the first bulb, and it definitely didn't push and twist into place like the 9006 Sylvania I pulled out. After repeated tries at inserting and twisting, I could tell it just wasn't catching underneath the locking hub. I examined them side by side, and noticed the original one seemed to have a lower profile neck and o-ring. I completely removed the Mars o-ring and tried the other one that came in the package. Still unable to push it in. I could see that the locking pins, weren't able to get underneath the locking ring. I did notice the ring had screws, so I figured I could loosen them up to make more space. This is where full rear access is important. I kept trying to loosen, and fit. Couldn't get it in. Finally decided to put it back together and return the bulbs, but I couldn't get the lock ring back in place I ended up having to pull the entire housing out to put the old bulb back in.I discovered that there was no way it would fit with either o-ring that it came with. So I used the o-ring from the Sylvania and it finally went in. Rather than inserting and twisting, I had to set it in place and using a marker, I paid attention to the screw holes and 3/9 o'clock position of the led. Then I set the lock ring over it, and screwed it in. I reinstalled the headlight housing, and plugged the light in.Nothing........Now I had to check online to see if there was a left and right headlight fuse, because my other headlight still worked. Power was good at fuse box. Then I checked the plug coming from the car. Power was good. I was perplexed, until I noticed the new bulb had a connector locking tab on each side. I thought, no way can this plug-in either direction up. I pulled it out , flipped it over, and it still easily locked into place, and the light kicked on.I had an 12v aftermarket accessory store for nearly 15years. I mainly installed aftermarket 12v items for new car dealerships. Fitting things that aren't vehicle specific was our thing. We sold everything from car alarms/stereo, and every sort of lighting you could ever want. Aftermarket 9006's etc. Always fit right into place, and twist. Some are much harder to get too, but once you've got the bulb out, the replacement always twisted right back in it's place. I understand that this gives you the ability to reverse the connections by flipping it over, but why? I never installed a bulb, and realized the wiring was opposite of the factory plug. It's not like a car battery, that you need to specify right or left post/negative.So far the bulb looks fantastic in the daylight. I paused to have dinner and do this review. Now that I understand this thing, I will video my installation of the second one tonight. Since I already know what needs to be done, I'll look like a hero on video, compared to my Bozo attempt at first one.Three stars for now.
