These books are very well researched, and therefore most informative.

7 books focused on aspects of tolkeins, themes, characters and concepts. They contain really nice illustrations of these concepts, the sections are nicely abridged.The books embossed paper texture feels very nice and has some flexibility to them, it feels like leather but isn't.Well worth it for any fan of middle earth and beyond.

Books arrived on time in a very strong box . On opening found the outer wrapping broken and one book damaged slightly where something heavy had probably been dropped on it . This had happened before despatch as the outer box was fine . As it's a gift it's very disappointing and definitely not worth the money . Would not recommend.

If you don't mind living in the author's mis-guided dream world and lack of coherence with JRRT's vision and narrative, then you may be able to tolerate this. Each to his own I suppose.
