More satellites. Less WiFi transmission power.
Bought one of these to increase WiFi coverage to my garden room. I discovered that my RBRE963 set up worked best when there were three satellites with the transmission power set at 25% than two working at 100% (WiFi transmission power is accessed via the router's web interface). No connectivity issues... no streaming device mid-stream drop outs... all of the devices local to their nearest satellite (or the router) would connect to it... and fast speeds wherever you went around the house or the garden. Really pleased with my purchase... especially at a "returned, resold as new, damaged box, blah blah blah" price (which is still outrageous but nowhere near as terrifying as the RRP).

Don't buy this expecting quad band
DO NOT BUY AS NOT QUAD BAND. This is a triband router and is mis-sold as Quad Band as the 4th band is locked down and can't be used other than for additional satellites via backhaul, even if you don't have satellites or are using wired backhaul. Complete waste of a band and to be honest Netgear shouldn't sell this standalone if they aren't willing to allow use of the 4 bands. Also very restricted use, you can't separate the bands at all, which causes issues and problems. I'm sure the router would be ideal if they allowed it to be used fully, unfortunately they don't and it's therefore massively overpriced and poor.
