Good bit of kit
Well made very smooth in use perfect 2mt taper looks decent steel as well, nice price as well

I bought this for my mini-lathe & it's a fair bit bigger than the 13mm capacity one I was using. This is worn hence me needing a new one. The new one fits OK despite the increase in size, I've only used it a couple of times but have no complaints.

Does what is says on the box!
Every bit as good as the 10mm chuck it replaced which was made in the usa. Note to any buyers who may not know;- you will need to clean off the protective oily coating on the MT2 taper before inserting into the chuck body (which also needs cleaning where the taper engages) otherwise the coating acts as a lubricant and the chuck will spin on the tapers. I made this mistake at first but soon realised my error.

The chuck itself felt heavy duty and seemed to be machined beautifully.I was genuinely chuffed as it was a huge improvement over the OEM Chuck supplied with my Fox pillar drill (which I think was made entirely from three milk bottle tops - it's just waiting for the right moment to disintegrate and take my face off).The problem came when I offered it up to the machine and discovered it was a B18 fitting rather than B16... B16 being the size plastered all over the images and in the description....In the defence of the seller, the outer box didn't give anything away so it could be the original supplier in China who's made a mistake.*Not* in defence of the seller, I tried to contact them to let them know their error and to get reassurance that if I reordered I wouldn't get another B18. I called, left a message but didn't get a reply. Amazon's contact page also fell over. Hopefully someone will read this and make sure nobody else gets caught by it...In the meantime I recommend buying this item from elsewhere to avoid disappointment. There's at least one other supplier on Amazon selling the same item.It's a pity, because the item itself is 🔅🔅🔅🔅🔅.
