I didn't get a handy magnet. :-(
Not a deal breaker, but I didn't get a magnet. I wonder if this was a returned/used product.

Love Cold Brew
This tool makes great glasses of cold brew coffee. I leave it steeping in the fridge for at least two days. I also may agitate it occasionally. After two days I pour the cold brew into a medium glass about ⅔ full. I add two packets of Splenda, whole milk, and ice and stir with my straw.Delicious!I do try to keep the grind a bit course. A very fine grind will result in grounds filtering out of the cylinder filter.

Simple and fits in Fridge
We used to make huge batches of iced coffee and keep it in a iced tea container with a spigot. This was unwieldly and a pain to clean. With this I can make smaller batches or slightly larger ones using a half gallon wide-mouth jar.I love iced coffee and usually dilute it a bit because I make a "super-infused" batch. I love how this fits in the refrigerator door and is very easy to clean.

Easy
Everything is straight-forward and explained on how to make your strength-level of cold brewed coffee…very easy and fast to create your cold brew for the frig, for tomorrow’s coffee. One important tip from “America’s Test Kitchen”: Use Medium Roast coffee beans instead of Dark Roast beans to control bitterness, you can make strong coffee in the brewing process.

Money saver
A handy product! The few things I don’t like are that coffee grounds seep through I have to strain it after it brews. Otherwise it saves $ not stopping for ice coffee all the time!

Okay for Small Batches
I got this with the idea that I would use it to brew loose-leaf tea. Since it is pretty clearly aimed at people making coffee, I let my son use it, since he has used similar brewers before. Here's what he says:The jar is a tall, straight-sided, wide-mouth mason jar. It is marked in 2 fluid oz increments up to 18 oz, and 100 mL increments up to 600 mL. It seems perfectly functional. The filter is very thin stainless steel, marked in 4 TBSP increments up to 16 TBSP. It's not paper-thin, but it definitely feels a bit fragile. It is also hard to to clean inside without a bottle brush, since it is so long and narrow. The holes are very small and well-made, and there don't seem to be any gaps for grounds to get out.The lid pieces are okay. The flip-top part is a bit finicky to close securely, but it stays closed once it is. It has a removable silicone gasket to seal its connection to the lower lid. It can be screwed directly onto the jar if you don't want to use the lower lid.The lower lid pretty much only exists to give the filter something to attach to. It has some holes around the perimeter that allow the coffee to flow up and out the top, so you could drink out of the flip-top lid with the filter still attached (more on that later). It also seems to seal to the jar with the exact same type of gasket that the flip-top lid uses, but there is no apparent way to remove it for cleaning in this case. The included magnet with brew ratios is a decent starting place, although you would probably want to tweak the ratios to suit your preferences and the particular coffee you're using. Finally, to bring it all together, it's time to talk about usage. The process of adding coffee and water and shaking every once in a while is just like any similar brewer. Once the coffee is brewed to your liking, I would recommend serving it immediately or taking out the lower lid and filter, to prevent over-brewing. I also do not recommend drinking straight out of the flip-top. The filter, while it does a great job of containing coffee grounds, is no match against the fine dust found in most ground coffee. I usually found myself letting the jar settle for the last several hours of brewing, them carefully pouring off the coffee into cups, leaving the silt behind. The coffee tastes much better without the silt mixed in, easily matching or beating similar brewers that I have used that had fine plastic mesh for the filter.Given the limited capacity and long brewing time, I think you would need at least two of these things to make coffee daily. I found it most useful for cases where we needed coffee early in the morning at some future date. It makes the perfect amount for two people to each have a cup, so I could prepare the brewer a couple nights before, decant into a bottle the next night, and have quick coffee the following morning.

Great size for one person or a few of you brew concentrated.
This jar is just what I was looking for. I put the grounds in ( I use fake coffee for health reasons), I pour the water in and let time in the fridge do it’s work. Make enough for one day or a few days. Just follow the directions. Cold or hot, you’ve got what you want. Less acid too.
