Close to being very good indeed
Based on my first experience, I would NEVER buy this brand again… was my first review of this coffee. Well, I must have been delivered a stale bag. My friend who recommended it was horrified! So they turned up with a fresh bag - and the difference was like night and day! Based on this experience, I have ordered another bag from Amazon to see if they too are now supplying fresh product. So watch this space… I have upgraded my initial review from 1star to 4stars, and if Amazon can deliver freshly roasted from their stock, I will upgrade it again to 5 stars without hesitation. I have never been happier to be wrong! A good batch of this Kimbo makes a memorable espresso, both with double wall baskets and with a “proper” single wall basket. Worth mentioning I am only reviewing this coffee, used in a restored traditional lever-style espresso machine (Olympia Express), and a. Solis Barista Perfetta Plus. The Solis I bought from Amazon UK, and will leave a full review (spoiler alert… it is an excellent machine).

A great Neopolitan style coffee
The Top Flavour is as close as the Neapolitana blend which also available from Kimbo and more accessible. I grind the beans in a very old Gaggia burr grinder and make wonderful espresso coffee. Kimbo is my favourite espresso and I have been using this for years.

This is very good coffee, we keep buying it since our last trip to Milan, very aromatic and works well in late macchiato or cappuccino.

Great flavour
This is a good flavoured bean. Would buy this again. Just trying out our new machine (Iberital IB7) and working to get the grind right then we'll be trying different brands to find the favourite coffee. From my machine this is a good full flavour with the slightest bitterness at the end, very good.
