My previous home theater system (Zebronics Zeb Juke Bar 9400 Pro Dolby 5.1) got faulty, and after a lot of online research, comparisons, and keeping budget in mind, I decided to go with the Obage 5.1.Honestly, I’m glad I did.My comparison is based on my previous home theater system-Pros:🎵 Sound Quality: Super clear vocals, with bass that’s punchy but never overwhelming.🎬 Movie Experience: Feels very close to a real theater setup. Even regular TV shows sound better than before.🎶 Stereo Effect: The different frequency output from each corner is very noticeable, giving a truly immersive surround effect.📱 Bluetooth Music: Excellent sound quality and volume for music playback — no complaints at all.Cons:🔊 Volume in Large Rooms: For movies, the max volume can feel a bit low in bigger spaces (might be due to combined TV + system volume limits).🔌 HDMI Switching: Sometimes I need to restart the system to get the HDMI input recognized — it doesn’t always switch automatically.Overall:The Obage 5.1 is a fantastic home theater system for the price. Amazing stereo separation, clear dialogue, and punchy bass make it a big upgrade. It’s definitely worth it if you’re looking for powerful, high-quality entertainment at home.

Obage clearly didn’t just chase loudness; it chased quality.📦 Pros:- Fantastic surround sound- Elegant, durable build- Incredible value for the price- Remote feels premium and individual front, center and rear channel volume buttons are available, individual connectivity buttons are helpful.Note: After using the system for 2 weeks, the sub woofer had some issues, I immediately contacted Obage Customer Care, Mr. Vipin took care of everything from pick up of the faulty sub woofer to delivering me a new one. Customer care is very responsive, we need this kind of customer care now a days. I even bought an additional sub woofer which increased the bass significantly, making it 5.2 channel.

Update 30 Aug 2023:I have returned the product as this is not loud enough and my old obage dt-51 was louder than this CA-1 5.1. I was having high hope on Obage CA-1 5.1 but disappointed a lot in terms of loudness with 5.1 sound stage. My humble request is to increase the wattage and use good quality speaker drivers.My Opinion about this product:They have made a good product especially in clarity and Bass wise. But coming to the wattage of the speakers are not loud enough for 5.1 sound stage. Sometimes you feel that TV volume is louder than this 5.1 despite having 4 satellite speakers.Such a good product is wasted just because of lack of enough loudness. I'm ready to pay even 5k-10k more for this speaker system if the wattage is increased to 400W and the same should be applied to additional subwoofer which is rated at 50W.Also found that speaker driver quality is not up to the mark when playing some audios, we can hear crackling sound like the speaker driver paper is going tear off anytime.================================================First Impression on receiving product:Today I have received the product. The first thing i observed was the package was opened by someone already. Because i did not find any protection to the speakers (sealed Covers). But the speakers look quite new and can smell the paint and wood, so did not bother. Coming to speakers, sound, Build quality, Bass etc.Build Quality is good but not the best because the finishing is not good for the speakers and Woofers. especially at the backside of the woofer Aux holes looks like unfinished. Obage logo feels like flimsy, and it may come off anytime. But look wise its fresh and feels like premium from distance.Sound Quality:Sound quality is smooth and very pleasant to the ears particularly in low volume. Please wait for burn in period to be completed (at least 8hrs) to get more clarity, and the quality of sound clarity especially vocals & Bass we expect from the obage is delivered as stated or promised in the product. I'm totally satisfied with the clarity. But the only thing which i observed is loudness of the speakers. It lacks the loudness of 200W speaker system. When playing Dolby contents, you will feel the speakers are not loud enough compared to non-Dolby contents. Those who are looking for more loudness then this product is not recommended.There is one issue with speakers' system is one can hear some noise when you turn on tube light switch.I know many people have already noticed this one and needs to be fixed in next batch.Bass:Soft and pleasant to ears and sometimes the bass thumps can go very deep to your heart, Bass works only where it is really needed and does not disturb the vocals which is the main reason to go for Obage products. Bass can go very deep depending on the quality of the content that you are playing.sometimes you may feel the bass is not enough and you will end up increasing the volume or buy additional SSW-1.Vocals:Vocals are very clear especially in the Hollywood movies male voice with bass feels like you are in theatre, Serials from setup box, but again lack in loudness but can be improved by selecting 2.1 option in the remote (you will lose the 5.1 sound stage).Surround sound:Very good and loud enough. You will hear each detail moving around you and won't irritate your ears.Sound separation and sync with Left / Right and Center speakers is very good.
