Upgraded Engine 10mm Drain Oil Changing Hose, Oil Drain Aid Tool, M10x1.25 mm, 18" Length

After replacing an old chipper engine with a new Briggs & Stratton 6.5 XR, I was disappointed that the old oil drain extension tube was not transferable. Unfortunately, I was unable to find any information online or from Briggs & Stratton conveying what the oil drain plug size is for the new engine. I took the plug to a hardware store and matched it to m10 x 1.25. with no easy way to get a piece of tubing threaded with that thread, I was pleased to find this item, which worked perfectly in allowing me to change oil without dumping it all over the shredder deck that the engine is mounted to. Only caveat I would offer to someone using this for a similar purpose is the hoses a little bit large and can't be threaded if the engine is tight to the deck that it is mounted on. Install the hose first, then mount the engine with the hose on the chipper if you have a similar issue.

Sturdy, well assembled and reliable. I used this to extend the oil drain on an inverter generator. I was pleased to find this hose with the correct size I needed. I would buy from this manufacturer in the future for a future project.

10mm fits but everything else is very bulky. Hose should have been half the size in the outer diameter.

Came in ahead of schedule. Really good quality product.I bought this for a golf cart project. In order to change the oil without having to pull the motor every time. They only thing I didn’t like was the nipple that threads into the engine wasn’t quite long enough. BUT it works. I’ll definitely be buying it again for another project.

just what small engine needs easy access

The media could not be loaded. It fits the drain hole threads of the Predator 212 but the metal ends of this drain hose are so bulky, they won't allow the engine to sit flat. I uploaded a video of the interference. You will have to use washers or spacers under the engine base you want the engine to sit flush and not rest on the drain hose end. This thing is huge too and has no hook or binding to hook or store into a loop and out of the way like the other brands.

Saves alot of time and mess, well worth the purchase

Very sturdy hose but a bit to long for my Honda 724TA snow blower . I may return it. It is suppose to fit my GX200 Honda but a 6 inch hose would have been plenty long.
