I was pleased with the tent on arrival, soon put it up to ensure all parts were as stated, as with many Geodesic and Dome Tents I found it easy to erect by myself, start by pegging out just the 2 ends on the side with the pole boots so it wouldn't blow away, insert the 4 poles and put them into the corresponding boots, fit the silver poles first then the other 2 ( make sure they are secure in the boots when fitting each pole ) then it's a simple matter of completing the pegging out, inner tent fits easily into place and can be left in place if required, loads of adjustment can be made by the straps to fit over uneven ground, this tent is made for the discerning camper, it's a quality item and should be given the respect it deserves when being used, this tent i'm sure will give me many years of faithful service.

I believe that this tent is not 4 season. 3 ok but in the snow? i am not sure about this. Its ok but does not give you the idea of i HAVE BOUGHT EXPENSIVE AND I HAVE QUALITY. No me , maybe i am wrong but this is expensive for what you really get.

Good quality tent, with sizeable vestibules and access each end. Tested in strong Icelandic wind (35 mph) and rain, and not found wanting. Excellent height, very spacious interior, superb for one, fine for two, somewhat intimate for three. Good sown in groundsheet. The flysheet and interior are conjoined so that the whole can be erected in rain without getting the interior wet. As always with tents, it seems slightly difficult to adjust the sides to get the cloth completely taught in all directions without rucking. The tent pegs are triangular and pretty strong, but not up to being struck into stony ground; they are also extremely sharp and capable of inflicting injury if not extracted with care. This tent would have got 5 stars instead of 4, but for the difficulties of erection. Once all four poles are engaged the tent springs into perfect shape. Until that time, with one, two or three poles, the tent contorts into every conceivable irrelevant shape, catching the wind, and refusing to conform. Sometimes it seemed that this was a three man tent because that is the number of people needed to put it up ! It isn't actually quite as bad as that, but it is certainly very difficult for one person to erect, especially in any adverse weather.

This tent is light and waterproof. The benefit of opening each end is that you can get a breeze through when things get warm. If only Khyam would have recognised this, I would have ordered.This Geodesic is stable and light. The titanium poles are stiff. Ripstop fabric.I think this tent and me have quite a future together.
