The plates arrived fast even though I ordered just before xmas they arrived 1 day after xmas. The plates came exactly as advertised 1/2 in thick and in good condition. I took them out to the range with a few other swat team members and proceeded to shoot them to exact specs using 9mm 40 and 45 with no issues at all. Then moved to 556 at 100 yards with no issues or defects found in any plate after a couple hundred rounds. Finally we moved in closer firing pistol at 10 yards and rifle at 15, the pistol rounds still didn't cause any defects and the plates functioned perfectly. However the rifle (556) at 15 yards caused tiny divots that we're almost unnoticeable until you felt the plate, only major defects were from poor shot placement where the round impacted on the very edge of the plate and made a chip on the corner. I currently have multiple other steel plates that were much more expensive than these I purchased these because I'm expanding my private range and also need to make a portable set to take to other agencies for training. I will deff be purchasing another set of these because for $12 per plate for this quality you can't beat.

Ordered these plates and they arrived way before expected! Took them straight to range to test them out! 100 rounds of 9mm at 10 yds no problem. Now all I have to do is give them a quick sanding, add a coat of paint and I'm ready to go. Very good product, especially for the price!

A social media group that I belong to for gun owners in my state has two "Range Day" meetups every year, Spring and Autumn, at a popular outdoor shooting range. The usual crowd numbers about 50+ members. I set up these two sets, painted white with 2" red centers, hanging by heavy steel chains from a 10' long 2x4 on legs, sitting at a range of 25 yards and turned 'em loose on them. I estimate that over the next 8 hours of shooting these targets took upwards of 50,000 hits from as many as 6 shooters at a time using everything from .380 pistols to full-auto MP5s and a full-auto Thompson sub-machinegun. The only rule I set was pistol calibers only. No 5.56mm and no 7.62mm, and especially no .50 BMG (we had three of them there). At one point we had to stop and swap out one set of legs holding up the cross member because an errant machinegun burst had destroyed the legs but these targets took everything thrown at them. There is hardly any paint at all left on any of the plates now (I'll repaint them soon) but zero damage to the plates themselves. I highly recommend these plates to anyone looking for a good low-budget starter set of steel targets for their home range.

Bought the 3/8 inch targets for something cheap to leave up in the back fence row. They have been out there for two years and are still in great shape. I shoot handguns from various range and 5.56/.223 from 75+ yards and haven’t had an issue. Just requires some new paint every once in a while.

I bought these to use personally on my land for target practice. I didn't have a huge expectation of them holding up to the calibers I would be using. but after the first few times shooting they held up remarkably well. I fired everything from .223 to 300aac and 9mm to 45 and there were barely any pitting and no bends or holes. i will be buying another set for the lease.

For the money these are awesome. Get some shepherds hooks from Home Depot and some spray paint and you are good to go. So far these have worked great with .22lr, 9mm, .38 special at 15 yards and left just a slight impact mark with .223 at 100 yards and somewhat of a small divot from 6.5 creedmoor at 200 yards. But for the money they will work great for years.
