Brilliantly written, an immensely funny and grotesque insight into the creative and often very painful process of making a low budget movie. Highly recommended!

Great fun
A very amusing tale of utter chaos! Got a bit into it and started to feel a bit of empathy stress towards the end!

Funniest book I've ever read
The previous reviews have said so much of what I'd wanted to say. A truly hilarious, page-turner. I can honestly say no book has ever had me laughing out loud so frequently and consistently than Losing the Plot. It's also hugely life-affirming. You need to read it to discover why... Go on, press the Buy button and give yourself a lift!

Very Funny!
Oh this made me laugh! The trials, tribulations and big egos this first time producer has to endure throughout the making of a low budget film are extraordinary .... and hilarious! Hugely entertaining read, keeps you turning the pages right to the end.

So funny I missed my train!
I purchased this book last week for 99 cents! What a deal. In fact it only cost me 89 cents because I had 10 cents left on a gift card. I never thought a book this cheap would be so very funny! Normally you have to pay at least a tenner for a book with this many laughs. I began reading it on my way to JFK airport and I became so engrossed that I missed my stop and then got on the wrong train. Curse you Mr so-called Archie Pelago. I almost missed my flight! It was worth it though. A very funny book!

Simply very very funny!
I absolutely loved this book…It genuinely made me belly laugh reading about this 'ineffectual' first-time film producer attempt to get his film off the ground! He spends his time trying to herd up wayward cast members, keep his crew from killing eachother and trying to avoid the 'demonic' Director of Photography…It's written in a fast-paced, brilliantly visual and funny way - I can totally see a tv series beng made from this…and frankly I hope that happens! All I can say is…I highly recommend this and hope Mr Pelago writes another one soon! *****
