Got white cotton candy tasted like watermelon individually packed which was nice

10 gold stars and a thumbs up from me. My brother is allergic to blue dye. It may be hard to believe, but that stuff is in EVERYTHING, even most red candy. He loves watermelon cotton candy, but it's usually green or pink which always has blue dye in it, so he never gets to enjoy it. Until now. This white cotton candy is a godsend, and it's pre packed into perfect one serving portions which is also fantastic for him. Love love love this product.

I bought this for a gender reveal and it was a huge disappointment. The plan was that the white cotton candy would be covering a figurine (mermaid for girl/shark for boy) and water activated edible glitter and when water was poured over the cotton candy would melt to reveal the figurine and the water would also change either blue/pink. I'm so glad I did a trial run because when water is poured over the cotton candy it didn't melt! It just floated. There were portions that broke off into little pieces the swirled around in the bowl like wet toilet paper. Definitely not what I had imagined. Luckily I was able to find real cotton candy locally that saved the day. On the plus side, it is very soft as advertised. Not stiff like usual packaged cotton candy.

This stuff is like amazingly delicious cat hair. Or my friend thinks its like amazingly delicious dryer lint. The instant you put it in your mouth the texture makes you recoil for half a second and then it melts into the best cotton candy I have ever tasted. So good. I only wish I could figure out how to make some like it at home.
