The first jug arrived smashed to bits, Amazon do want it back so I'm sending it. The replacement arrived the following day and is just what I wanted. One pint plain white jug with a nice shaped design.

Lovely looking practical jug
This is great retro style jug and I have added the 2 pint version as well. Very functional and looks great in kitchen

Great Jug: Smaller Than Advertised
This jug is great except for one point. It is solid, looks great on the table filled with custard and is a reasonable price. The only caveat is the size, which is advertised as being two pints, but the jug actually only holds about 1.5 pints. That is not a problem for me as I don't need more than about a pint of custard at a time, but it could be for someone who has a bigger family.
