For the price it is a very solid, reliable, and solid compass
Bought this a gift for a dive buddy for her navigation class and had to chance to see it in action above and below the water. Everything works perfectly and you actually have a good amount of play without it locking the compass wheel (unlike my current analog backup compass) making it easier for beginners and seasoned divers. I am looking forward to purchasing one for myself and my other dive buddies.

Accurate
I have many different compasses and I this one is as accurate as the $100 one. The side viewing window is very helpful. I've only used it for land navigation as I was boondoggling (no GPS signal) and wanted something to see in a flash just by raising my arm. It's well worth what you pay. I can't speak for is use diving. i can even clip a min led keychain flashlight off the buckle if needed if lost at night

Exactly what I needed!
I was headed to St Thomas to do my advanced open water cert dives and needed a compass. This got here quickly and worked great. It is a little big if your looking for a smaller one but it made it very easy to see in the deeper water.

Compass was difficult to read once underwater.

This compass cannot be read at a tilt angle of 30 degrees as claimed.

Good Hand bearing compass too
On the bulky side, but serves as a decent hand bearing compass in addition to a dive compass. Well designed and solid

Wrist Compass ideal for Water Sports
This compass is designed for aquatic activities. The 5ATM rating would make it waterproof up to 40m (125ft) although I have not tested it at depth.I did test it for precision with another diving compass and a compass app with my phone. The results were consistent and within normal directional parametersIt is important when using a compass to hold it level so it can rotate freely when changing direction. Note that it is liquid filled with oil, I did not see any bubbles that may affect precision. Keep away from the sun.The only thing I modified was the strap position, the way it came could affect visibility of the side window with the free end of the strap. In the last picture you can see the appropriate strap position.
