Skip Hop Baby Soother, Moonlight & Melodies, Elephant

I love this product and have had great luck with Skip Hop products. I ordered this after a different sound machine we were gifted for my youngest daughter when she was born died after 3 years of daily use. I was so excited to see this came in the elephant shape. My oldest daughter has the owl version of this sound machine that we have used every day for at least 4 years without any issues. This elephant is even cuter. It projects the moon and stars on the ceiling and has a little light underneath as well. It’s not too bright, has good sound options, and the volume and light can be adjusted. My daughter loves her new night light and feels like a big girl getting to pick the sounds she wants to hear.

This is the best nightlight and sound machine for my sweet darling girl! We used it every night for sleep and for all naps. Super cute star design when it shines on the ceiling and the belly glows as well. Lots of options for volume, brightness and sound. We use the white noise or heartbeat daily. But there’s cute lullabies as well! My only problem is that I needed to get a replacement of this little guy. The plug is a usb and it a very sensitive. The slighted little jostle will break it... we ordered a random replacement usb cord that did work, so now we have two elephants! Other than that, we LOVE this product! Skip hop is the best!

Love this soother/night light. It’s small, great for travel, I love that it’s battery powered and also has a power cord. My little ones love the display on the ceiling. The soothing sounds are realistic and there’s several volume options. The only complaint I have is that I wish the lights were a bit brighter. But, still a great product & would recommend to others for sure! Skip Hop is definitely a go to brand for my family!

The heart beat sound is an actual heart beat not one from a fetal ultrasound or with a lot of white noise like other machines. This is great for travel no need for a sound machine & a nightlight. My kids love it and sleep wonderfully when traveling just like at home. I have one at both the in-laws homes.

We came to this product from the portable owl soother. The owl was great, it sounded really good but it only had a 60 minute max time on. The elephant is cool. The added features (projector, nightlight) are nice addition as well as an infinite setting so we can run it all night.The build quality doesn't feel solid like the owl soother and the speakers sound junky and distorted, but I think it may he related to downgraded plastic and larger, hollow build.Regardless, it makes white noise and helps my baby sleep... helps me sleep, and it runs all night.

For the folks who say there isn't a continuous option, are mistaken. The sideways 8, or infinity, symbol is the continuous setting. Love that! Also has the 15, 30, and 60 minute option. I do wish the stars and moon projection was a little bigger. Unless the elephant (or owl) is in the ground, the projection is a very small, dense clustered image, rather than spread out across the ceiling. Regardless, we have both the owl and the elephant for each of our little one's rooms and they love them.

I bought this as a baby shower gift at first, but my 2 year old loved it and wanted one for his room, so I bought him one too. He sleeps with it on continous every night to the waves sound, and tells me to look at his stars and moon when I lay down with him. I would definitely recommend for a newborn to toddlers room. Because it is not super big, it could easily be taken along for travel. The only thing I might change is the ability to angle the elephant's snout where the picture comes out to better position on the ceiling.
