Quality is really good. I wish it was brighter

Due to the fact that this unit uses a remote which did not arrive with the unit it is useless to me. The appairance of the unti is very nicely built and estaticly pleasing to the eyes. I cannot talk about the brightness or lack thereof.

Very modern looking, seems sturdy. I like the options for changing the color of light ie the default setting didn’t match my decor and I was able to change!! Been in use for about 1 month. Will see how long last

Appearance is great. Quality is great. But description of the different levels of brightness are misleading.The bright white is white, but it is NOT bright.I’m going to keep it because I paid someone to climb a ladder and place it on top of my 10 ft columns of my gate.But I am disappointed and dissatisfied with the lack of brightness

That’s why solar is the way to go, and these SCNYCUL Solar Post Cap Lights do a respectable job of lighting up the landscape without the headache of trenching power lines.Build Quality & Design:Right out of the box, I was impressed with the packaging; everything arrived in perfect shape. The build quality is on par (or better) than what I’ve seen at the big-box stores, with a solid aluminum and glass construction that feels like it’ll hold up over time. It’s also good-looking, making it an excellent choice for driveway pillars, fence posts, or any cap light application.Installation & Setup:Installation is simple - no wires, no electricians, just a standard round junction box-compatible mounting brace (nice touch). They even included wire nuts for capping off any existing electrical wiring, which is thoughtful. That said, it would be even better if the manufacturer leveraged that unused power line to enable hardwired control with minimal power drain.Performance & Features:Unlike some budget solar lights, where you have to squint to confirm if they’re even on, these actually produce real, visible light—imagine that! The color temperatures are proper warm, neutral, and white (not “orange, peach, and blue” like some cheaper models). There are also three brightness levels and a programmable 3/4/8-hour timer. Once set, the light remembers your preferences, so you’re not constantly reprogramming it.Now, here’s where things take a slight dip. The remote control works fine for nearby installations, but don’t expect it to function well over long distances. If you’ve got a property like mine, with pillars spread across a full acre, you’ll be making the rounds on foot to manually adjust settings. A better RF-based remote or Wi-Fi/Bluetooth control would earn this product a higher rating.Final Verdict: 3.75 StarsThese are quality solar post cap lights, built well and bright enough to actually be useful. If you’re lighting up driveway pillars, fence lines, or garden features, they’re a great fit - so much so that I’ll probably be ordering more. But, the remote control range is a weak spot, and upgrading that tech would push these lights into solid 4.5-star territory.Would I recommend them? Yes, if you need solar-powered convenience with a premium build. But if you’re expecting long-range remote control magic, be ready to walk.

Very solid and beautiful design. But it's not bright enough. I decided to keep it just for decoration.

I have not been able to evaluate this product as the remote control shipped with this product is nonfunctional. I removed the shunt from the battery well then I opened the battery well up and made sure that no plastic was left inside the well. It was clear, I noticed the battery was scratched up and looked like it might've been used before, so I swapped it out the button battery 2025 and still the remote control did not work.The light is actually made very well and I wanted to buy a second one for my pool patio.I will reach out to the manufacturer and ask for a replacement remote control, I really would like to run this through its paces as the remote control shows it has a lot of features. If they send me one all update this review.
