This set of literary genre posters are great for any bulletin board. They are sturdy material with nice graphics and color. It definitely added educational value to my classroom.

I purchased this item to use for my English classroom, and I love it! The posters are a perfect size for my door and my bulletin board. The colors of the poster are very nice and vibrant. I highly recommend this resource.

These charts are bold and eye -catching. Their titles are easily readable across the room. The colours used are sufficiently muted to facilitate unhindered reading while the gloss is mild and does not produce any glare. I like the individuality of the charts as they can double as flash cards and manipulative if the need arises.

The art on these posters is awesome and the variety in the genre types is great for the middle school classroom. However, the religious image of Moses and the burning bush was chosen for “legend,” described as a “folktale” that cannot be proven. I will not be hanging it as it takes an unnecessary shot at religion. Meanwhile, a “myth” is considered “sacred” and describes “how things came to be.”

These posters are big and so they are easily seen on my classroom wall. I’d really like the examples that they use for each genre.

They are larger than your normal 11 inches x 8.5 inches piece of paper. It is thick card stock paper and the finish is a bit shiny. From far away, they are a bit small to read. If they are placed close to students, it would be wonderful for them to learn about genres.
