Bought for a shelf. Good for the price and looks good.

Solid bracket. Mine was slightly off in being square to each leg of the bracket. When placing one side of the bracket against the post the top part of the bracket was not square and was offset on a slight angle to the bottom of the mailbox. Still worked okay but recommend drilling holes for mounting the bottom of the mailbox to the top of the bracket only after centering up and installing the bracket at the proper height to the post. Center up the mailbox to the post on the bracket then mark and drill the first hole, put a bolt or screw in the hole, check again to make sure the mailbox is still squared up to the post then repeat drilling and inserting screws or bolts for the remaining mounting holes. Used a drill bit made for granite (not concrete) to drill mounting holes for lag bolts in the granite post. I also used outdoor epoxy to secure the bracket to the granite post to help secure it in addition to the mount bolts and to protect the bolts from weathering.

Very nice looking and sturdy. One star off for inconsistently drilled holes in the brackets for screws. Also the screws and mollies that ship with them are not suitable for a very heavy shelf load.

It was a booger to install into brick but obviously not impossible, just lacking in the proper tools, personally. It did come with wood screws & drywall anchors for those doing that... The bracket is holding 9 lbs. in my photo, it looks good on the house, & I guess we'll wait & see how it holds up to the elements. Overall, I'm pretty happy.

Just the right size and weight, easy to install.

Study & stylish, works very well to hold a heavy 6 ft x 15" shelf, above my entertainment system. I actually used 4 brackets to secure the shelf, due to th heavy speakers that I keep on it. The room itself is cabin themed, so they look & work perfectly.

How hard can it be to buy shelf brackets? You would think that they would be a common item in a hardware store??? After going to four hardware stores and finding nothing but the most basic brackets, I spotted these online.Quality and appearance were much better than expected, arrived quickly and at $27.00 for four they were a great value. The shelf that they are holding is 6 1/2" wide and the proportions look just right! Would buy again.
