I have read, every single one of these books, at least twice if not three times and I already know this one will be just the same. Honestly it's one of my favorites shes put out and Thorne... What to even say about him... He honestly gives Franco a run for his money and I didn't think that was possible! This book is a bit spicier then her previous but still she manages to keep it classy and not cheesy. I just love the way Odette writes and If I could, I would love to live in the universe she's created. The story in a dream so wicked is gripping and where as some of her previous books have slightly slow beginnings, this one has you gripped from the very first chapter. I love the main character! That girl has the mouth of a sailor when compared to Odette's other books and I just love it. Shes feisty and feminine and a dreamer with her feet still firmly planted in reality (most of the time lol) I was so excited when she announced that this book was her happily ever after because I loved her cameo in kiss of the selkie. Her and Thorne's relationship is sublime, that's the only word I can think to describe it. They have amazing chemistry, the kind that only comes from two people who pick on each other insistently lol this book is absolutely Romeo and Juliet meets sleeping beauty, both stories are incredibly well represented, but the whole time I was reading it I kept imagining a darker version of the "once upon a dream" song from the classic sleeping beauty movie. READ THIS BOOK! AND ANY OTHER FROM THIS AUTHOR IF YOU LIKE FANTASY ROMANCE! I'm 100% serious. They are SO good! So get to it! 😉

I fell in love with Tessonja Odette back when I read "Curse of the Wolf King" and I've been adamantly following her work ever since. I love the world she has built and the unique magic that each fae tends to possess. I thought this was a really unique take on Sleeping Beauty and I appreciate the message that Odette is trying to send, that just because someone is your family, doesn't mean you automatically have to love them. The characters aren't perfect, and that's what makes them lovable. Anything Tessonja Odette is an instant one-click purchase from me. I can't recommend her stuff enough, especially if you love books about fae.
