The Greatest Kettle ever
Look, let me tell you, The Sage Soft Top Luxe Kettle is a fantastic piece of equipment. It's got a great design - very modern, very sleek, and let me tell you, it looks tremendous in any kitchen. And it's not just looks - this kettle is built to last. You can tell just by picking it up - it's got a solid weight to it that screams quality. But what really sets this kettle apart is how quiet it is. Believe me, I've had my share of loud kettles, but this one? So quiet, you won't even know it's on. And that's important, folks. You don't want to wake up the whole house just because you're making yourself a cup of tea.But it's not just quiet - it's also very practical. With a capacity of 1.7 liters, you can make plenty of tea or coffee at once. The water heats up quickly, and there's a window on the side that lets you keep an eye on the water level. And the best part? The base is cordless. That's right, you can take the kettle anywhere you want without having to worry about cords getting in the way.So listen, I highly recommend The Sage Soft Top Luxe Kettle. It's a bit more expensive than some other kettles, but believe me, it's worth it. It's a winner. A real winner. It's stylish, it's well-built, it's quiet, and it's practical. Believe me, folks, you're gonna love it.

Great Kettle
I am one of those sad people that will research something like a small kitchen appliance within an inch of its life before making a purchase. The main reason being is because I want to buy the best I can afford for a great quality item that will last. Let's just put this out there - the Sage brand here in the UK is actually produced by Breville though Breville have been going for many years and this is clearly the premium end of their product line. Features I love include the fingerprint proof satin finish and soft open lid. The kettle has a satisfying "ping" once boiled and pours beautifully. We do not have the same issue with regard to the water level indicator - by simply lifting the kettle it's quite apparent how much water is in there and you also have a lid with a glass "porthole" so you can see straight into the kettle itself. All in all, a good quality, nice looking, functional kettle.

Love this kettle!
I bought this kettle just before Christmas, so have had the opportunity to use it now for a while. I'm really impressed. It is a really well made and well finished product. It boils more quickly than my old one did. It is slightly heavier than my previous kettle. but I rarely fill it completely,, so this isn't an issue and I'd rather have a more solid, rather than flimsy, kettle. I like the 'ping' that it gives when it's finished boiling. It looks real stylish and I would definitely recommend this product. In fact we like it so much that I recently bought another Sage kettle in a different finish for my son.

Kettletastic
After plenty of research as lockdown leaves little else to do, I purchased this Sage kettle and it's pretty much perfect. Loving the soft open lid, not too loud and looks very slick. The only downside as other reviewers have mentioned is that you cannot see the water level. The side indicator is very dark, odd choice to make during the design, hence 4 stars. It doesn't bother me overall.

Good quality but expensive for what it is.
It seems to be a good quality but it is expensive for just a normal kettle. You can't see the water level due to it being dark coloured glass.

Not a good buy... Goodbye!
Bought the 1st one in March 2019; came with a 2yr warranty. Looked nice but that's about it! There are some really bad design, quality and service issues: First, It's way too heavy and is slow to boil... you're heating the heavy kettle as well as the water! 2) The product photo is misleading; you really do have to bend or lift it high to see the water level clearly. 3) Slow to switch off.. boils for too long while vibrating on the ill-fitting base. 4) It got worse: The lid release button actually fell off in June 2020 making it unsafe and useless. 5) Returning it under warranty was tiresome, taking six weeks to get the replacement. Finally, the On/Off switch/button fell off the replacement kettle 5 weeks ago, still technically within warranty. That's when I decided I didn't want another £100 Sage and bought, instead, a £27 VonShef which does everything it should, but faster. All that glitters....
