Simply Nutrients Fruits & Greens Powder - Amazing Super Greens Powder for Water, Smoothies, Juices, Shakes & More - Superfood Smoothie Powder (Chocolate)

This was a bit of a gamble for me because I don’t generally like powder shakes (I don’t mind adding powder to a homemade shake though; I just don’t like mixing powder with water only), and I'm not particularly fond of chocolate flavor. When I got this, I was planning to put it in my cocoa drinks so that I can have nutritional cocoa drinks—haha, I know it’s weird of me. Well, it turned out to be actually better than I thought, much better than other powdered drinks I’ve tried with just water. This one wasn’t too bad to drink only with water, but I did mix it with unsweetened almond milk when I tried this second time, and it was quite good that way. It didn’t have that chemical-like taste that I sometimes get from other powders. I liked that I was getting some greens even when I didn’t have time to make a green smoothie or eat a salad. For that, I am happy with how this turned out.

It is difficult if not impossible to consumer enough fruits and greens, etc. to provide sufficient antioxidants needed in a day but this superfood powder makes it easy to accomplish. Too long to list all the components of the powder (all noted on the label) but they represent over 20 servings of fruits and vegetables. Divided into three beneficial areas--the fruit antioxidant blend, the digestive support blend and the probiotic blend it is stated they support areas of energy, immunity, longevity, etc. One scoop (included) has 40 calories and there are approximately 27 servings per tub.I selected the chocolate variety (made with cocoa bean powder processed with alkali) with the intention of adding it to a smoothie but to get a clear idea of the taste I mixed a scoop as directed with 8 ounces of chilled water and used a small whisk to blend the very fine powder but a shaker jar would also work. Not a surprise that in water the texture is watery but the flavor is fine with a very good genuine chocolate taste accented with a touch of cinnamon and a hint of fruit in the background. I could drink it that way but prefer the smoothie route.Cellophane almost completely encases the plastic jar so it is obvious it arrives untouched. There is also a tight foil inner seal so it arrives fresh and flavorful. To estimate shelf-life at the time of this review in August 2023 the expiration date is 22 months in the future but dates will vary.

So I have tried other super green products and overall they always have either a weird or unpleasant taste some of them I have been able to tolerate but I've been also looking for something that my kids would enjoy or at least be able to tolerate so I have been using this mixture in their smoothies and they actually really love it and have requested it more than once they feel like it tastes very chocolatey it doesn't have any amount of sweetness so you do have to add other things to your drink if you're looking for some sweetness but overall it does have a good strong chocolatey flavor little bit more on the cocoa powder side but again you just adjust with a little bit of sweetness and sweetener of your choice but really good I have to say that I've noticed a little bit of a difference in my kids especially when they have this in the morning they just have a little bit more energy and overall they just feel a little bit better which is great because I have little ones who refuse to eat and vegetables so this is great for kids who don't always get the best nutrition from their food

Usually chocolate powders taste bad to me, but Simply Nutrients Fruits & Greens Powder is delicious. Gives me a great energy boost when I'm doing my workout.

I like that it is sealed on the outside and inside.It smells great, has a very wide variety of ingredients and tastes fantastic.It is mildly sweet so I added a dash more stevia to it and that just elevated it even moreso.Only slight downside is it mixes....ok. I used a hand held blender to really get it to mix properly.I recommend mixing it either into a shake or milk/almond milk. Mixing it with just water really doesn't do it justice and let it shine for the delicious product it truly is!Not inexpensive, but at less than $2/day you are really getting some major nutrients in a delicious product.5/5

If the label is right and this has as many nutrients as it says, it’s a great way to get greens in! The chocolate tastes good, I mixed it with almond milk instead of water and it blends well. You can taste a hint of the cinnamon that is in the mix, but it’s not overpowering (I typically avoid cinnamon flavors).The price is a little expensive at over $50 for 27-28 servings. I’m not sure, it could be on par with other drinks of its nature, since this should last about four weeks with one serving a day.

I prefer it as part of a smoothie, but I also like it just fine mixed with some plain oat milk. I use a hand held frother to give it a good mix. I normally dont do chocolate, but I really didnt want another berry product. I was also curious how this would do as a chocolate flavored item. Very cocoa-esque. Pleasant, easy to drink. Seems to be well balanced as far as flavor goes. Love all the ingredients.

I ordered the chocolate flavor, and it's great! My schedule has been hectic, and I've needed some extra nutrients, so I decided to try this. I've noticed that it's helped with energy and just my body in general. It mixes well into liquids. It doesn't have any strange flavors or aftertaste. I've been happy with this powder. Make sure to dig deeply for the scoop. I had to go pretty deep.
