Nice Coffee Carafe
This is a very nice carafe. It is compact and stable for the 1 L capacity. The interior and exterior finishes are very nice. The top is level so it can be used with a pour over coffee dripper. As some reviewers mentioned, there is a small lip inside that retains a little liquid. This lip may actually help strain off a few grounds if coffee is made in a French press. The supplier provides excellent customer service. I had a problem with the original one delivered and they provided a replacement within a day or two. Some reviewers indicated that the spout did not work well. It seems to work fine if you don't try to pour too fast. The carafe keeps things warm for a couple hours, I wouldn't count on 10 hours. Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase. I use it to make coffee using a pour over coffee dripper and it keeps the coffee warm until it's finished.

sturdy
keeps hot for a good time. no need of warming coffee or tea all the time. the sieve include is a bonus. load with loose tea leaves or coarse coffee -add hot water and you have steaming hot tea of coffee. very impressed.

Not bad for the price
Overall these are great carafes, I gave them 4 out of 5 stars. They are easy to use, lids stay tight and don't leak, and they keep everything hot for quite a long time. I served hot coffee at an 8 hour event with these and only during the last hour was it starting to get cool, so I'd say that is pretty good.Had to deduct a star because they are not easy to clean, specifically to dry. The lids and the carafes themselves somehow manage to get water INSIDE of them, and it's infuriating trying to get them completely dry. It's not impossible, just difficult.Overall I would buy these again and recommend them to anyone.

Works great as a replacement carafe for small coffee maker
I have a brand new 5-cup Black+Decker coffee maker, the glass carafe just exploded on me one day for no apparent reason. So rather than get another replacement glass carafe I decided to try this stainless steel thermal one.It fits perfectly (without the lid on because the lid is not designed to be used with a coffee maker anyway) for this model of coffee maker and was much more reasonably priced than any of the decent glass ones I could find! It will not work for all of the small five or six cup little coffee makers because it's too tall. Take the measurements and maybe it will work for you.https://www.amazon.com/BLACK-DECKER-5-Cup-Coffeemaker-CM0700BZ/dp/B0BQX7DKB4/ref=sr_1_2?crid=10DZ24N4YEGRY&keywords=black%2Band%2Bdecker%2B5%2Bcup%2Bcoffee%2Bmaker&qid=1707775340&sprefix=Black%2Band%2BDecker%2B5%2Bcup%2Caps%2C176&sr=8-2&th=1

Traps water inside lip have to hand dry
The media could not be loaded. The carafe works great functions the way it should keeps hot liquid hot for hours. No funky flavors to my coffee or anything, Pouring spout works ok I guess. My biggest complaint if your OCD like me when comes to having left over water inside containers before using them, this carafe will drive you insane. The water just will not come out, idk where it goes but when you try to dump the water out nothing comes out but once you set it back up there it is. So there must be a hidden gap or ledge that prevents the liquid from completely draining. Just depends on what your expectations are for this carafe, it’s extremely affordable so if you don’t mind hand drying it which takes seconds then go for it. I actually bought a glass carafe and put this up for a later day for the price it’s not worth sending back.

Does what it says!
Works great so far. Keep my tea hot for hours and warm for ten plus hours. The time of course is predicated on how much liquid is in the pot. My observation is base on liquid inside the pot at full capacity.

Didn’t Keep Coffee Hot or Warm
I make coffee every morning and wanted a carafe so I didn’t overcook the coffee. This looked good, so I gave it a try. Day 1: poured the coffee in and reopened in 2-3 hours, and room temp. Day 2: thought I should preheat the pot. Poured in boiling water. Let it sit 10 minutes, and dumped it out. Immediately added fresh coffee. Room temp is 2-3 hours. Didn’t work. So I returned it. Solution was a standard thermos bottle. Not pretty l, but gets the job done.

The vacuum gap is a fatal flaw
I really want to like this carafe, and I would give it 5 stars if it weren't for the design flaw that traps liquids. It unfortunately is a fatal flaw for it.In the winter months, I like to keep a nice warm pot of tea at my desk during work hours. I have an IKEA tea pot that's great for brewing, but it gets cold by the time I finish the team. It's a PITA to make single cups out of loose leaf, so despite my mountain of vacuum thermoses and tumblers, I wanted an insulated carafe. I chose this carafe despite the other warnings. It's a sleek matte black, the price is about half of the best in class, and it does retain heat very well.Unfortunately, no matter what, there's always a bit of liquid stuck between the double walls. I don't think it's comprising the vacuum seal, but it is a storage annoyance. I'll dry the carafe on the rack upside down, and as soon as I flip it, the trapped water flows out. So I then have to leave it (uncapped) sitting out to let it dry again. I've tried towel drying it, but you can't reach wherever the water is pooling. Also, the first time I washed it, a bunch of plastic flakes drained out. I haven't seen flakes since then (I assume they were from an unpolished plastic edge from machining that shaved off after I screwed the lid on for the first time), but it is disconcerting. It's a real pity, because I've gotten compliments for its sleek look from coworkers on virtual meetings and from guests when I've brought it out for after dinner tea. I'll probably keep using it for while, since I hate the idea of tossing it and contributing to the landfill, but I'm annoyed by how close to 5 stars this could have been.
