Ford didn't make it convenient to get to, but it can be done from the engine bay with a few combination wrenches. Don't waste your time taking panels off the bottom of the car because it won't help in the slightest.

Does not fit 2019 Ford Fusion SE Hybrid as advertised. Spring on lever is too loose and there is not enough room in the engine bay to fully engage the lever in order to release the hood.

For the price, I would have been surprised that this worked as well as OEM. Maybe I didn't mount it at the correct height, but I followed the position of the old one. It's fine for now, but I will definitely be replacing down the road with a better one. Now that I know how easy it is to install.

This latch was literally a waste of money. Got my mechanic to install and it wouldn't even unlatch the hood. Go to rockauto and save yourself some time with this product.

A shop that fixed it charged over 100 dollars for a certified one and it broke. Took 10mins to fix and 20 bucks later good as new.

The latch was pretty stiff when I got it but I lubed it up pretty well and had my mechanic install it in about 30 minutes. He didn't have to remove anything only the one screw holding the headlamp just to move it SLIGHTLY out the way. I've read other negative reviews but mine is working just fine so far. Can't complain for the price. Especially when my mechanic charged me just a few bucks. Got the latch replaced for under $100. Great deal.
