This hip carrier has been a game changer! We use it all the time. It is so much simpler to use than the traditional harness style carriers, and much more steady and versatile than a fabric sling carrier. The baby/child sits on a saddle seat, and is secured by a wide hip belt that is fastened with strong hook & loop fasteners and a sturdy buckle, taking the weight off your arms and hips. There is an optional shoulder strap that can be placed on the opposite shoulder for even more weight distribution, that you don’t find with many of the other brands (even the bougie name brands). This product was also ideal for our family because it has a detachable belt that fastens around the child with hook and loop fasteners and buckles securely into place on the front and back of the main hip belt. While it’s not intended to completely secure the child, it does assist in keeping them attached to the wearer. It makes holding the child for long periods much more comfortable. There is ample padding that makes it feel secure and comfortable on the wearer, as well as on the child’s saddle seat. As an added bonus, there are several pockets, pouches, bottle holders, and even a nice zippered pouch inside the saddle itself. You could easily fit a small wallet, keys, and baby teethers/pacifiers inside, and carry a bottled water. Busy parents would find these features really helpful, especially with their arms full! The only slight downside is it takes a few minutes to get it really secured, so it’s meant for long-term use — not just taking on and off.

Wish I would have purchased sooner. Great for kids that like to be up and down. Really takes a lot of weight off when holding them.

Love this carrier! Love the storage so I don’t have to bring another bag. Perfect for places where no strollers and toddler wants up and down.

I have a 3 year old with Down Syndrome, who weighs 35 lbs and isn't walking yet. Needless to say, my lower back, hips, and biceps were crying out for some relief! This has been SUCH a huge help in relieving some of the pressure, especially from my arms (she doesn't use her legs well to hold on).

I use it for my 20 pound dog 😍 just received it and tried it in the house and seems to be very comfortable. Great for those times when I do need to carry my dog as he is elderly, and there are times he gets tired and he has a hard time walking. Love all the storage pockets too since I never carry a purse for safety reasons.

Had to return the pad for the seat didn’t seem strong enough. And when baby sat on I didn’t feel comfortable on my hips

This was great for packing full of diapers and wipes so I didn’t have to carry a diaper bag. I enjoyed using it as a hip carrier, but it was a lifesaver for using it while my daughter was nursing on the go!

Super convininet for carrying your toddler for short distances. I also like the variety of pockets to kepp my keys and other small items handy. Do not need a purse if I have this on.

I am a new mom to twin girls and my back is always killing me from picking up and carrying my 98 percentile girls. This product has saved ny back immensely. I use it around the house while cooking or doing a task with one baby on my hip. It has a pocket for bottles and a front zipper pocket for your wallet and phone. It is super easy to put on and fits my husband too. My girls fit very well on the seat part and I’m not worried about them slipping off it because of the silicone grips on the padding. My twins are about 35 lbs each and it supports their weight very well and does not dig into my side

I use this when I go on walks with my baby and I don’t bring the stroller. Easy to use and strap on. There’s a pocket that perfectly fits my phone and lip balm. The pocket underneath where the baby sits has a lot of room. I put some wipes (take some wipes and put it in a ziploc bag) and some other essential stuff in there. This has helped me out so much especially when my baby gets tired of walking, I can carry him and my arm doesn’t hurt/get tired.

My measurements are 26" waist, 105 lbs. I've only tried this and another amazon one (claiming 22-46" waist belt) but this is the better option for all the petite people. I've only worn for 5 mins to test around the house but here's what I've noted. Pros: 1. Grownsy actually fit my waist because it has to be on really tight and high, as your toddler's weight will bring it down a bit. The other one that claims minimum 22", fit more like a min. 28" waist because of the placement of the velcro and buckle. 2. Has a safety band AND a lock/unlock mechanism on the buckle (pic 1). This is just like the "real one" that I keep getting ads for. 3. There's a kam snap button to make sure it stays packed up folded (pic 2). 4. The pockets have 2 zippers making it very friendly for whichever side you choose to wear (pic 3). 5. The velcro is large making it very secure. Cons: 1. I wish there was a pocket to store the bottle mesh pocket as it's just hanging out, like the "real one" does. 2. The waist belt is almost 6", I wish it was 4-5". 3. It digs into my hips just a bit. This varies depending on how high and tight it is. Not sure what the seat is made of but I wish there was more foam for comfort for the wearer.
