Bright (1050 lumens), Good White Color Temperature range up to 6500k and ships with a Remote
Choosing a set of LED ceiling lights was no easy task. I wanted a set with good light output and capable of producing a nice white light. Also finding a set that are dimmable with a wall switch was tough (which these are not) but the remote makes up for that. Not knowing what I was getting into I set-up the lights on the floor before drilling holes into the ceiling and installing. Everything worked great and I really like the Smart Life app.The remote didn't pair right off the bat but that was my fault. I had inadvertently closed the app on my phone. Once the app was opened again and cycled the power on and off the remote paired quickly as it should.Alexa Integration: Gave it 5 stars assuming it will work well but we do not have an Alexa on our 2nd floor or intend to use this with an Alexa. After researching many many choices available on Amazon, I am really happy with these lights.

Doesn’t work without the data mining app
Don’t waste your time. This light will not work without the app even though it comes with a remote. Nothing can be done with the lights till they are paired to the app. Also, they go into “seizure” flash mode while you try to pair them making it very annoying if you are in a dark room like I was. (Doesn’t seem that bad till you are on your 20th attempt to pair the lights) I never was able to get the lights paired to the Wi-Fi network so they recommended using a second phone’s hotspot to do it. Lo and behold, that didn’t work either. Ended up having to uninstall all the lights and order different ones from Amazon.

Good lights for a great price
I love these lights, we use installed them in our bonus room after a recent remodel. The real standout is the remote, which makes changing the color temperature, brightness, or even color easy and fun without having to get my phone out. They're only getting 4 stars because occasionally they disconnect from the internet, and I have to jump through a few hoops to reconnect them to the remote. They are, admittedly, in a room far from our router, so this might be a non-issue for others, and is really only a minor one for me. All in all they work great and look great, and having the easy switch between color temperature is really a great feature.

Perfect for Kitchen Recessed Lighting
My electrician husband installed recessed lighting in our kitchen to replace an ugly and dated fixture. He installed a dimmer switch too, so our kitchen looks sooo much better!

Great light for the Value!
These lights are great! We installed them outside our home and they not only look amazing but are so easy to control from the phone! The lights are bright and easy to install, my husband and I were able to get them configured in no time! Definitely recommend them!

Garbage
Garbage, do not buy. I've already wired them in and insulated around them and have to rip them out. Only bought because they said it doesn't have to have wifi connection constantly, you can use the app, Bluetooth, or remote, but doesnt work unless wifi router is directly under, and your phone has to be within a couple feet, so if in ceiling you have to climb a ladder to get them to respond. They just randomly go in and out and you can't turn them on or off. The white is bright enough, but when you turn on colors it automatically dims an INSANE amount, can't even call it mood lighting. Very stupid. And yes, that is up to 100% brightness.

Lights are smart, design isn't.
I replaced (4) traditional recessed light cans that had retrofit LED lights in them with these in the drop ceiling of my finished basement. I wanted to love these, really did, but I was frustrated from the start.Positives: They are a smaller form factor, so if space is an issue, these should work well. They can be controlled by an app that you download on your phone or by the remote control that came with the lights. They can be changed to be a bright "day" light or a softer, warmer light color. As well as many other colors. You can dim them with the remote or the app. These are wired up to a couple of basic toggle switches, so I couldn't verify there ability to be "dimmed" through the switch, but I imagine they should work fine. There is a night light button on the remote, that instantly dims all lights down to about 10% light. That is kind of neat. Good if you don't want pitch black when watching movies or something.Negatives: The box does not include everything you need to install these lights. You will require romex connectors to wire in these lights. It seemed kind of absurd to me and I didn't expect it as the recessed cans I pulled out of the ceiling were at least 15yrs old did not require romex connectors. They had accounted for romex in their design. The lights did not come with the standard "push in" splice connectors. Most aftermarket lights do, considering the cost of this item I would have expected that. Instead they give you wire nuts and you can deal with splicing. Is it a minor thing? Yes, but the cost of these lights at this writing is $80 for 4 lights. The cost of 3 "push in" connectors per light is far less than a dollar. The lights "glitch". Not sure how else to say it. I work from home, in the basement. Spend far too much time there. Lights are on most of the work day and they will randomly "reset" or turn itself off and on. Not all of them at once. One at a time. It may be a front left light one moment, an hour later it may be the front right light. It doesn't happen ever 10 minutes, but you can expect it to happen more than once per light, per hour. There is a delay to them coming on when you turn the switch. It may just be a second, but it is very noticeable. Where as my old lighting, flip the light switch and lights were seemingly instant on. These are not.Lighting control. You would need to setup scenes in order to control your lights in groups. If you wanted to change the colors, go from bright white to softer light and back, etc.. you would need to go into the app, create (in my instance it is 2 lights per light switch) lighting pairs and create scenes to control this. If you do not then when using the remote or the app, you can only change the color, hue or brightness of the lights one light at a time. For the price, I don't feel they are worth the cost. They are glitchy, they do not include everything needed to install and the wiring could be much easier for just another couple dollars cost to the manufacturer. I'm not putting my old lights back, because its just hassle at this point - but I wish had the reliability of those lights.

Excellent lights
I purchased these lights to install outside on our deck. They did not disappoint. My kids love the multicolored lights that you can choose from (who am I kidding? I love them too). Installation is as simple as drilling a hole connecting three wires and putting the light in the hole. The hole is a unique size at 110mm but if you use a 4-1/4 inch holes as, the lights will fit perfectly. The lights are very bright when you want them to be, and very dim when you want them to be.
