Simple and natural remedies!
I found this book to be full of information about natural remedies. The increasing resistance of bacteria to chemical antibiotics is very sobering and even though the medical community has stronger limits on prescribing antibiotics, the occurrence of resistance continues to increase. It seems every other day we hear of someone dying from the flu or having their flesh eaten away by some bacteria. It's truly frightening.Knowing there are natural remedies that we can make at home and that they have no negative side effects is a great comfort. The list in this book of the most common herbs and plants that can be used for these remedies is a great start to learning the whole healing arts. The recipes all seem to be easy to do. The herbal teas sound warm and comforting. The vodka tincture sounds wonderful. And I love the homemade diaper rash ointment.I recommend this book to those who wish to simplify and cleanse their lives of chemicals and products full of unknown substances. Keep it simple and natural.

Flu-Fighting Tea Recipe and Cough Medicine for Adults and Children Recipe Make it Worthwhile
I was glad to find an easy-to-read boo on natural antibiotics. You will discover the top 12 antibacterial herbs as well as a list of conditions they may be used to treat as well as natural antibiotics and herbal remedies for common conditions such as cold, flu, skin conditions, and more. I especially like the recipes given and knowing that I have one for cough medicine for adults and one for children should I need it. With flu season reaching an epidemic, the recipe for flu-fighting tea might be useful. The author is a nutritionist. Sometimes the medicine the doctor prescribes has a negative effect on your health. The natural herbal remedies do not. I think just the recipes for the flu-fighting tea and cough medicines make the book worth its money, but there are also other recipes and ones for children. Check it out. There's a table of contents. I'm glad I found it.B. J. RobinsonAuthor of River Oaks Plantation

Not much info
I was hoping this would be a bit more extensive. It's very small and very basic.

Oregano grape root?
I always appreciate recipes I can build from, but spellcheck is kind of a big thing when selling a book. I hesitate with taking content seriously when “Oregano” grape root is listed on the first page I happened to flip to... (pg. 10)

Two Stars
The title is deceiving and it is quite short with only about 8 recipes.

Excellent!
More and more, I'm all over anything natural. I no longer trust the food and medicines given to us by large corporations. This book is an education in natural antibiotics. I used to bemoan the fact that the herb and medicine knowledge of my great-grandmother had disappeared in two generations. This really gives me hope that the knowledge is making a comeback.
