My Little Pony Equestria Girls Rainbow Rocks Sunset Shimmer Time to Shine Doll

My daughter *really* wanted this doll. There isn't much that can be said, its a toy.. made in china.My daughter and her friends enjoy that the wings move up and down :)

For my autistic child its a great toy. Had it for a while and its still in one piece! Well made and very robust. Would recommend it to anyone that wants something hardy for a little girl.

I have quite a lot to say about this Sunset Shimmer doll. Firstly, she doesn't stand on her own. I have to use an old Monster High stand to let her balance because, as you could imagine, she is a little top-heavy. Secondly, she doesn't sit down, which is perfectly fine for me, but some people I guess would be a bit picky-and-choosy about these things. Her wings don't stay down, so you have to hold them. Her shoes are especially unique and are decorated with flames. She, like all the other neon Equestria Girls, have two-toned tights, hers having a golden flame decorating her left leg. Her skirt is gorgeous. It's black with golden flames down the sides, and at the front is pink glitter. It has a plain black train, cut like flames swooping down her skirt. Her top is rubbery and comes off quite easily. Her belt and collar are built in and painted where appropriate. Her headpiece/microphone is yellow and translucent and is held in by a rubber band, which I chose not to take out. Her mouth is slightly open in a pretty smile. One of her eyes has a pink and yellow sun around it and the other has pink eye shadow and a darker pink highlighter with a red eyebrow. I kinda wish her other eve had an eyebrow, though. Her hair is in a ponytail which I keep beautifully brushed everyday. She has circular pieces of hair curving around her shoulders, which I gelled because it wasn't very secure. Onto her wings. They're very glittery and are made of cloth, so don't be going chop-chop with your scissors! They have a contraption at the back that if you unscrew, you can remove her wings. I would not advise this, for it's extremely hard to get them back into place, although it is achievable. She has real feet. And the packaging was awesome. Over all, I thought they did a good job on Sunset Shimmer and they've done good jobs on all the later dolls they've made.

Really cute doll! I gave a 4 star rating because the wings are very thin & could damage easily.

Bought this as a gift for my granddaughter. She really liked it.
