We live in a VERY hot climate and we often would forget that our little guy is quite honestly, barefoot, on his walks. We have been applying the balm for a couple weeks now and his sweet liked cracked feet are all healed. We are applying before and after walks during the very hot months! Great product!

The fact that dogs can safely lick gives me such peace of mind! And my dogs paws are starting to feel soft and conditioned!

This was so easy to apply. The pups liked that it was quicker than the usual stuff we try to apply. And their pads seem to absorb it well.

I wall my dog every day, 2 or 3 times usually! We tend to stick to the grass, but my pup does see a lot of pavement time, so a balm to prevent dryness, roughness, and cracking seemed like a good idea. It does seem to work. After 2 days of applying morning and night, his paws are a bit smoother and softer, and the small cracks on his pads have diminished. So A+ for that! But thank goodness this stuff is natural and okay for them to lock, because my dog -and I imagine others as well- will lick their paws like crazy after an application. Also, it makes their paws fairly glossy for a while until it soaks in, making them slip like crazy on some surfaces, like hardwood floors and tiles. Be careful with senior dogs! Otherwise, it's a good product, and I'd recommend it

I applied this balm to my yorkie. He licked his paws every now and then. I did not worry about it because it is lick safe. And I did not feel anything wrong with his stomach. And I found out his paws are shinny than before. So it works and I will recommend it.

I didn’t expect this was going to be such a small item but I guess for the size of our doggie the size it’s ok.I like that all of the ingredients are organic, and most importantly, safe for our dog! Our doggie’s paws were starting to look very grayish and dry, but within a couple of days after using this paw balm her little paws are starting to look much better. I which I would’ve bought this item way before!

This paw balm works great for soothing and moisturizing at the time of use, it's a little stiff so I find it easier to press and scrape some out on my finger, let it warm and then rub into my dogs paws rather than apply it like a deodorant to the paws directly. I can also keep it cleaner that way. We live in a heavily paved area so this does help.I haven't noticed any long term moisturization yet though, so you have to keep using it and the paws are only moisturized after using it. No smudges or grease stains on the floor though, I mean, no more paw prints on the floor than usual, that's part of having a dog. :)

The most important thing for me was that its non-toxic for dogs. The ingredient list is simple and contains natural ingredients.It is easy to apply as it's done almost like a deodorant stick style. Turn the counter at the bottom, the stick goes up, then apply. You'll have to keep your dog distracted as most dogs don't like their paws touched.It's good it is lick-safe as my dog definitely licked her paws after I applied it.It's fragrance-free as far as I can tell. My dog did not seem to be bothered by it.My dog's paws were a bit rough, which is why I got this product. After I applied it, it certainly moisturizes and her paw pads were softer to the touch.I'm looking forward to using this during winter, what with salt on the pavement and the biting cold.I would most certainly recommend it.

Quite pleased with this product for these reasons:1. It is made in the USA, so I have a heightened sense of confidence that it is free of the toxins and contaminants often found in Chinese-made dog food, baby food, children's jewelry, etc.2. The ingredient list is plain and simple: organic coconut oil, candellia wax, organic shea butter, organic almond oil, vitamin E. These are some of the same ingredients as many of my natural human skin care products.3. The container is a flattish plastic shape, like a mini solid deodorant/antiperspirant tube. It measures 2.77" tall x 2.25" wide x 1.25" deep. So it fits easily in a jacket pocket if you want to take it with you to reapply on a long walk or hike.4. It says it is "lick safe", so I'm assuming that means non-toxic to the dog.5. It is odorless, which is great. No strong or nasty smell to make me or the dog uncomfortable.6. It has a long expiry date. I ordered in July 2023; my tube expires June of 2025 (but I'm assuming that is keeping it at room temperature; most natural oils go rancid if you store them at high temperatures or in the sun).7. If you have questions, the company's contact info is printed clearly on the label: 1-800 phone number, email address, Twitter address.8. And importantly, last but not least, it works! My dog is now 11 years old, so her footpads tend to be drier and are easily cracked, given her age and the years of use. Also, we live in a climate that has "real" winters (-20 to -40C) and where our town uses salt and other chemical melters on the streets and sidewalks. This foot balm helps to add and seal softening oils into her feet AND to protect her feet from absorbing the possibly poisonous salt and chemicals.My only negative is that this is a tad small: it's just 1 oz (28 gms). We will see if that is enough to last us through a Canadian winter or not.Conclusion: Very happy with this natural, US-made, odorless foot balm/protector.

The form factor is probably the most interesting thing about this product - what's inside is a blend of mostly coconut oil and shea butter. Having dealt with raw shea butter before, there is a lot of similarities in terms of smell and overall moisturizing effect.However, having it in a stick makes it significantly easier to apply and far less messy. There isn't an awful lot in there, but it's used sparingly so the relatively high cost isn't as big a factor as it first seems.I don't know about using it as protection from hot/cold weather as any effect there will be short lived, but it's great for turning dry scaly paw pads dark and glistening.

WOW just wow - I've heard of PawBalm for awhile and was something I was like I should get but not really a priority but I noticed my pup's pads were getting very dry and crusty so I took the plunge and got it and I am SO HAPPY I did. The stick is about half the size of a deodorant stick - it doesn't sound like a lot but trust me this stick will last awhile since it is solid and you don't need much.Reading the instructions the ingredients are great - Vitamin E, Shea Butter, Coconut Oil and Almond Oil - all of the best moisturizing agents and ones that are human grade as well so you don't have to worry about any type of chemicals etc. and it is Lick safe which is amazing. The instructions advise to use 1-3 times a day, I only use it once every few days and trust me when I saw - I am absolutely amazed at the difference as you can see from the before/after picture.Application is so easy - just either apply the balm directly to the pads, or you can scrape some off and apply it with you're fingers - either ones work as I tried both, then just rub it in to the pads and you're done. Right away I could tell this was going to work and work really well - even the day after I applied it my pups pads were still so soft and moisturized looking.Truly amazed at how well this works and how long it lasts - I would highly recommend this product to anyone with pets to keep their pads looking wonderful.
