Precise, Effortless Cuts – My Go-To PVC Cutting Tool
This PVC Pipe Saw (PVC240) exceeded expectations for both DIY and professional use. While it's not a high-end purchase, the performance is impressive. The saw features a replaceable Japanese pull-style blade that excels in precision and ease of use. Most notable is how easily it fits into tight spaces thanks to its streamlined design—something other pipe cutters struggle with.Cutting 1" PVC pipe took just a few effortless strokes, with clean, accurate results. Because it's a pull saw, the best action is on the backstroke—let the tool do the work. The replaceable blade is a great bonus, but the overall build and performance make this the best PVC pipe-cutting tool I’ve used. Highly recommended for anyone working with plastic, acrylic, or PE piping.

Best saw for PVC pipe
I work with irrigation all the time and I can say this saw cuts through PVC like a hot samurai sword through a bambo pole made of warm butter. These things cost $60 at the local hardware store, so at $19, the price is right. They last a long time as long as you don't hit too much dirt and rock if you are sawing pipes underground. The blades flex a bit so you can make awkward cuts on hard to get to spots. I keep a larger and a smaller one in the kit. I replace mine every couple of years and always keep a backup, even my older ones still cut great, though not as good as a shiny new one. These saws are outstanding. The handles are plastic and nothing special, they work, but the blades are probably made by an ancient sect of Japanese master sawsmiths going back at least 18 generations. If you have to cut lots of PVC, buy at least two of these

Completed the job
I didn't think I would find a tool to get into the small 5" space between the wall and the vanity to cut off the 4" pipe elbow (making it rather thick to cut through) that was partially sticking out of the wall. It took some time and a lot of effort but the knife blade actually did get the job done. I would recommend.
