Fashionable elderly shoes
They look like “young” people sneakers, but go on so easy for elderly persons with swollen feet. Comfy, stable base , no fuss Velcro closure. Nursing home patient and their PT/OT staff were impressed!

Problem Solver Shoes..... that work for swollen feet
These shoes are fantastic for my 92 yr old dad who is dealing with edema in his ankles and feet.We were limited to bedroom shoes (only one style) to wear. The problem with that was when we elevated his feet the bedroom shoes would fall off. These shoes solved all our problems. Thank you for the reviews that described how easily these shoes were to adjust. I highly recommend them. The total top section opens to allow you to easily insert your foot. The velcro on each side allows you to adjust the snugness to keep the shoe stable and comfortable. This is so great because you can control the pressure applied to the foot when you wear different thickness of socks. These shoes are also easy for my dad to put on (or) take off without needing assistance.

Great slippers
My husband has many problems with his feet and needs shoes/slippers that won’t cause any irritations. His everyday shoes are custom molded shoes. Many reviews suggested ordering up one size. I did that and the slippers were much too big. I had to return them and order his usual size. For reference his usual size is 13 EE. These slippers appear to be very well made. Look good on his feet and he finds them very comfortable. Will definitely reorder when needed.

My dad loved them
Originally, my dad had Kizik. Expensive. But with correct ties, he didn't have to bend down to put them on. He loved them but his feet swelled up. So, he was unable to wear them. I got him these and he spoke very highly of them. Had no issue with the velcro. I worked with a senior, at a care facility. That's how I found out about these shoes. So much better, than the usual shoe the other residents had. It's much easier on the care taker too. Saves the back and/or the knees. They also look nice. With pants on, you don't see the velcroed part, if at all. Basic black goes with anything. Win win.

Recommend going down a size
Clear bag was already opened before I received it as though shoe was tried on by someone. 2 silicone packages were also loose in the bottom of the clear bag and not in shoe.Shoe is made of fabric and can be wiped dry. Tongue of the shoe is easy to adjust the width if feet becomes swollen. Although its too large even with my orthotics overall its a comfortable shoe.

While it's a good purchase, it's not as good as the regular FitVille with shoelaces
I have wide feed and it's really difficult to find shoes in North America. It's simply genetics and nothing to do with a medical condition. Wide feet are a little more common among Asians than Caucasians. Ideally, I need 5e or 6e shoes, but I typically have to settle for 4e in North America.FitVille is one of the few companies that sells good shoes for wide feet over here. I have their regular walking shoes with shoelaces and I love it. I gave that one 5 stars. These ones with a hook-and-loop fastener are convenient and they get the job done as slip-on shoes for short distances. I'm deducting 2 stars because the ridge of the strap that closes the top of the shoes seems to dig into the top of my feet a bit and it can get a little uncomfortable. I much prefer their regular extra wide walking shoes that come with shoelaces. I'll be buying another pair of those once they next go on sale. Overall, I don't regret the purchase and I wouldn't bother to return the shoes.
