Our state's rules for the pandemic state that you can't have the little plastic stirrer straws just sitting in a cup...but it was okay to have plastic spoons that weren't wrapped. (I know...what's the difference? But that's the rules.)I thought it was very wasteful for our church to be throwing away a couple plastic spoons every week because one person would make their coffee then have to throw away the spoon. These are a great solution and are approved by the State of Indiana. The individual wrapping passes the COVID-19 rules and they're a much more frugal way to let everyone stir their coffee.I had several people tell me what a great idea it was to get these. I just didn't think it made sense (fiscally or environmentally) to throw away so many plastic spoons.
