It's hard to believe that this would be considered "vintage", but this is the original Superman minifig from the early LEGO DC sets, complete with the spit-curl hair piece and the red waist with blue legs. The head has both the smiley face and red-eyes sides that you can flip to show his mood. Assembly is no different than if you were to get him from any of the LEGO sets, and I think most people could figure out how to put it together. If you have a collection of "vintage" DC sets - i.e. the 1960's Batman - then this "Christopher Reeve" style Superman would be a great addition.
