I don't normally do many reviews but this seems to be worth the exception. I have a 5 year old Lab who has developed a limp in her front left leg probably due to jumping too much when younger. After walking for a few miles you could see the limp beginning and after resting at the end of the walk, her leg was obviously stiff and sore. This meant that she could not enjoy a nice long walk. After having her on the Advanced Hip and Joint Support for a few weeks now, I can see a difference in her. No longer does she limp and she appears to be quite ok afterwards so I have been able to take her on longer walks again with no problems. I also have a younger dog who has the early indications of hip dysphasia and had great difficulty in getting her to take the glucosamine and chondroitin supplement that the vet recommended. I have got her taking Advanced Hip and Joint Support no problem and am happy to use it as it actually contains more glucosamine and vitamin C and the same amount of chondroitin as that recommended by my vet. It also contains msm which was not in the vet's recommended supplement. Needless to say it also is cheaper.

Make sure you adjust the number of tablets according to any EXTRA JOINT CARE INGREDIENTS within your dog's packaged dry food if that is what you feed your pet. Overdoing it could be bad for your dog... Otherwise; a fantastic supplement that has a definite easing effect on your dog. My dog (who was old) showed an amazing difference in mobility within a week of use.

My pup has her surgery for fix the Patella luxation on her right knee last October, she is very hyperactive, so she never take a rest as she supposed to. A month after her surgery, she still skipping while walking (exactly same as before her surgery). Her vet check her out and said her patella has been perfectly in place and done the X-ray, everything turn out to be good, but she still skipping every few step. The vet then said maybe she need more time to recovery, so we give her a few more months. 3 months passed, still skipping, so I decided to get her some help, I do my research and see a good review on this product and finally order one for her to try. I gave her 1 tablet (with food) a day an it’s start to see the good results within 2 weeks, but then she just start to vomit and has diarrhoea for the whole day, so I stop giving her immediately, she get better the next day. A week later I want to try to put her back on so I gave her a tablet , then again she got sick a few hours later, so I totally stop. When I read the label again it said 1 tablet for dog up to 15kg, but my little girl is only 4kg maybe that’s a reason she got sick. Just be careful before you start to use the product it’s actually work good, but might not suit if your dog has a sensitive stomach like mine and also the tablet size were way too big. PS. I put her back on a month after that, but only gave her 1/3 tablet a day, she seem ok with it and and enjoy taken her supplement now, but it take about a month to see the improvement, she still skipping but a bit less than before. Hopefully one day she will walking normal again

Our Lab x Pointer pup started to develop signs of hip dysplasia at 7.5 months. After a lot of research into ingredients and percentages thereof, and comparing prices, we tried these (Basic, not Extra Strength). The improvement was noticeable after a few days, and steadily continued. Now at 9 months, he gallops around as he should. No tummy upset, and he’ll eat them straight from the jar if need be (tablets are chicken flavoured, and moulded to be easy to break into half or quarters). Good value too: you can pay an awful lot more for a similar product that contains fewer active ingredients and in smaller amounts.

I purchased these tablets after researching supplements that were equal to my vet prescription of Synoquin. I have two 7 year old rescue Springers who were both placed on Synoquin following cruciate ligament ops (one with added complications). After years on Synoquin (120 tablets for approx £60), I decided to research if there was a better priced supplement available, as different vets seem to have a lot of variation in their preferred brands. I decided to trial this supplement as it contained triple the strength of key ingredients such as glucosamine and chondroitin which were my biggest focus. After two months on the new supplement, I'm pleased to report that both dogs seem to be doing as well if not better (they do seem to have more energy than usual but that could be the season too! ) so I am very happy that I made the change. This is an excellent product at a brilliant price.

Don't really know if these work as my dog can't tell me. I wonder if these don't dissolve properly as i have seen what looks like pieces of it in her poo so I have started to crush the half a tablet she has daily.

Very relived to have found these tablets. I have a working gundog who is starting to get on in years and this season he was beginning to get stiff after a days beating. He would be fine out and about running all day but once he had settled down on an evening and then got up again his stiffness and discomfort was showing. I chose these supplements as they contain several things known to help with stiff joints and I liked that they also contained MSM which is a known anti inflammatory. Within a couple of weeks of starting these I saw a marked difference in how he was walking at the end of the day. Much less stiff so therefore much more comfortable. I recommended them to a friend whose dog was also working and becoming stiff at the end of the day and they worked for his dog too. I note that these also come in a stronger version of what I have bought, so that means that in time I can increase what I am giving to my dog. Therefore have no hesitation in giving these supplements 5 stars.

Switched over to this from a 200mg soft chew. Had to give my old pup 4 at a time. Now I give him 1 at feeding time and he's doing so much better. I do have to crush it up and put it in his food, but the difference is night and day! Worked so well I ordered for my Moms yellow lab that had a huge cancer tumor taken off her hip last year. She was having a lot of difficulty going up and down the stairs, this has really helped. She is 110lbs and my mom gives her 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening. Much better than 8 of the same soft chews I was using!!

I received this wonderful product a few weeks ago and feel that it's definitely helping my sweet girl :) She's an older girl, a rescue so not sure exactly how old, but she seems to happier and having more fun !! I did find that she's not crazy about the taste, but she's willing to chew it up if I wrap it with a little bit of sliced cheese!!! Cheese fixes everything, right??? LOL I would certainly recommend giving this product a try, and hopefully you'll see great results like we have seen :) Thanks to Brandy and Phoebe for helping to promote this great product.

Our dog Charlie is a Dakota Shepard, has trouble with his back legs, and he is starting to show his age. I've been looking for something that would help him out with the pain the vets kept telling me that won't work this won't work, then one day I was just kind of running through some dog stuff (on the internet not the real dog stuff) you know what I'm talking about, I come across this product it said hip & joint, I said it's worth a try so I ordered it. I was reading some of the other reviews and somebody said something about having a finicky eater well Charlie, even though he's a big Shepherd dog he is real picky, sometimes I think I need to put out a knife and a fork and a napkin but anyhow I got the pills, he won't eat the pills but I found that if you take and put them on a solid surface put the bottle bottom over the pills and just twist it will fine grind it, and then I just rake it into his food Stir It up a little bit and he gobbled it right down. This is the second bottle that I'm working on now and it helps, sometimes he thinks he's a puppy till he finds out that the back legs just don't work that well but at least he's not in a lot of pain like it was. Would I recommend this product, most certainly it works it's helped my dog!

I bought this pill is Big so I cut it in a half wrap slim piece of ham . My dog got so bad he was limping o. 3 legs . This has helped him so much . He is back on 4 legs after 4 days . He is acting like a young pup and is so happy again

Product arrived on time and as advertised. Unfortunately, my dog didn't like the taste.
