Being a conscientious mobility scooter user [use due to severe mobility issues] I sometimes encounter incidents where people are truly inconsiderate - parking fully on pavements, turning corners without indicating, cutting me up when I need to use road or when they are on foot and other issues. I was getting verbal abuse and threats of physical harm over such incidents or simply as I was seen as an 'easy target'. So I started using a car dashcam with 3D printed housing and usb power [bank]. People back off as soon as they release they are on camers ['dascam'] and the footage can be used as evidence too.I bought the YDI Motorbike Dash Cam to fit to my mobility scooter in place of my 'knocked together' camera solution. I'm very happy with my purchase. I fitted the device[s] very easily and found the colour coded wiring particularly usefull. The camera image is as good as expected and recorded images are great for this type of device / system. It took a few minutes to scan the included instructions and a very short time to get used to the controls. I have only had chance to try night vision in a totally dark garage and it looked great. Audio records really well also and the GPS gives me an on screen speedometer that seems accurrate.I cannot comment on how well system works if powered from bike directly as I have only used USB powerbank to power device. I can report that I live a mile and a half from town and have easily gone to town, gone around shops then reurned home after some hours 5 times before recharging the powerbank. Before purchase make sure any powerbank you may want to use will be adequate - product info gives guides to this. My only gripe is with the display - it can be hard to make out the image in daylight even when not so bright. The issue seems to be with 'glare' and the screen acting a bit like a mirror. I intend to combat this issue with an anti-glare sreen protector cut to size if need be.

I fitted this to my bicycle using a rechargeable battery with 5v USB. All kit seems good except the brackets for holding the cameras in place. I'm pretty inventive so managed to accommodate their limitations.Playback seems OK and the transfer to phone seems OK too.Uses little power so the rechargeable battery lasts quite a long time.Turns on automatically upon receiving power from battery.You might need larger cable ties as the ones supplied only fitted narrower tubes of my bike.

Simply does not work, even though i have used sd cards that are of the required specs, the camera just corrupts the card, which then refuse to work with any other device. The take photo button sends the camera into shutdown, the camera also runs very hot which is worrying. The app for this device is erratic, most times it wont be recognised by my other devices. For some strange reason the files this device are a ts format, rather than mp3 so they need to be converted. Its not fit for purpose, going to get a refund and send this item back, buyer beware.

The only reason I have given it 4 ⭐️ is because the bracket to attach it to the handlebars is really poor & broke without being tightened at all !!It’s a shame as the camera is compact & brill 😔

Absolutely fantastic setup, couldn't be happier. If works flawlessly, the anti shake and picture quality is first rate, set up was easy, operation is simple, couldn't ask for more.Seller was very helpful and responsive too, helping me out with a new camera mount which I needed, they posted me 2 replacements for free very quickly.Buy one, you won't be disappointed 👍

An impressive piece of kit. My partner has a motorbike so we tested it on his. The cameras are small and neat and they fit securely to the front and rear. The screen is very clear and compact. I was very impressed with the quality even on a rainy windy day. At night it has infrared night vision. There is some shaking and vibration from the bike but the dash cam does a good job at stabilising the video. The equipment is Ip rated so fine being splashed in water and rainfall.There is a GPS chip inside which will time code the recording and location which is brilliant for insurance evidence if there is an accident. The Roadcam app was a bit flaky, it would not work with IOS17 but It has had an update and is working properly now.Its a good value roadcam designed from the ground up for a motorcycle, it ticks all the boxes and is secure.

They don't have a internal battery so the parking protection doesn't work (seller confirmed this but hasnt changed the listing) and now the unit has packed up after 3 months and probably 6 times of use. The quality was good but the WiFi app constantly crashed when trying to download footage and the sd card slot isn't designed to be easily accessed. Wouldn't recommend these!
