Delicous
Best noodles and sauces.

Basic and not worth the price
They're nothing to write home about and absolutely not worth the insane price they are now - £17?!. There's no denying the noodle quality is superior to most others available, albeit a small portion for the price. The sauce however is such a let down. It needs a lot of additions to make it even slightly interesting.

It's just noodles and a packet of soy sauce and dried spring onion
Bit disappointed. Noodles and a packet of soy sauce and dried spring onion. I expected a bit more. Be cheaper to by these things separately.

Nothing special
I ordered that's after seeing a review online and wanted to see what the fuss was about. Alas Amazon sent me some that had already expired and refuse to let me return and refund. After back and forth with customer support and having to give them photo evidence they'd sent me expired food they finally refunded me. Sad that I didn't get to try them I headed to a local shop and got some instead. However, after all that they turned out to be pretty bland. They just taste like standard noodles with soy sauce. Nothing notable over any other noodles. Which is crazy considering how expensive they are. Get some Pancit Canton noodles instead.

EDITED TO ADD: You guys know this is a dry ramen, right? I'm seeing people say it has weak flavor & the pictures show it in soup, like people didn't drain the ramen. A dry ramen doesn't sit in broth, like your typical ramen does. It has a small packet of sauce that you toss with the drained noodles and that's it. No added water, hence, the term dry ramen. It's very tasty when made as directed. If you add water or don't drain your noodles & just dump the sauce packet in the water, of course it will taste bad. It's supposed to look like the picture on the front of the package -- just the DRAINED noodles with the sauce packet. This is a different kind of ramen than say, Maruchan & the like. REVIEW These are seriously so good. The taste is almost like chow mein. I add extra green onions (it comes with a pack of dried green onions) and cut shrimp so it's thinner & smaller, so I can have the taste of shrimp with every bite of noodles. I also add some sesame seeds, sesame oil, and some butter. You wouldn't think so, but the butter takes it over the top, making these noodles super silky. There's no heat to this at all, so when I'm cooking my shrimp, I add some chili oil to that & it's perfect. You could add veggies & stuff, but it would be dry since the sauce packet is really small. I mix the sauce with the noodles & get them all coated evenly before I add in my shrimp. And I cook this all in one pot. I'll use a saucepan & cook the shrimp together with the packet of dried onions, the chili oil, a little sesame oil, and my fresh green onions. I move that to my serving plate, then add 4 cups of hot water to the saucepan to cook the noodles. When done, I sauce up my noodles with the sauce packet, then add the shrimp mixture. If you're having this as a main dish, each little pack will serve one. Let's be realistic 😂 I'm a tiny little bird lady & it's so good I can eat 9/10s of it by myself. If having as a side dish, it'll serve 2. And don't be misled by "ramen" because it's not soupy like the cheap ramen you can buy. It literally looks like the pic on the front of the package. Anyway, this is so good. You can't go wrong with it, even if you don't get fancy & add things. SO GOOD. I have it on auto-ship & I'm here to order more because I can't wait until my next subscription shipment 😂

Just what I thought it was.

These were just alright. I had read a lot of hype about the Momofuku Soy & Scallion Ramen Noodles by David Chang and I guess I was just expecting some amazing tasting noodles and that didn't happen. I most likely won't be ordering them again, I have had better ramen that was much cheaper.

These are ok noodles. I am not fond of the flavor packet and the noodles are definitely different then I'm used to. They are definitely the kind you read the instructions to cook and not in a microwave. They are quite spending also for noodles but it was fun trying them out. They are not for everyone.

I’ve been OBSESSED with the soy & scallion Momofuku noodles!!! I normally buy the 4pk at Target for $10. Someone recently told me Amazon had 5pks for the same price so buying off Amazon was a no brainer. What I received was NOT the same. The first thing I noticed was the packaging. It’s one big pack with five individual packs inside. I immediately noticed that the inner packaging was different; it was a different type of material and solid white on one side. I also noticed the label said proudly partnering with Asha brand. The ones I bought from target did not say that, at least not anywhere visible. Packaging aside- because that shouldn’t affect taste… The ones I purchased at target contained a circular shaped puck of dried noodles as well as a pretty large sauce pack and a scallion packet. The ones I received from Amazon contain a rectangular shaped chunk of noodles and a significantly smaller size sauce packet- the scallion packet was also smaller. So I feel like even though you’re getting a five pack instead of four pack, you’re not actually getting any more product it’s just spread out into an extra package, meaning smaller portions. On to cooking, they seemed like they were cooking different. A lot more starch in the water and all of the noodles were tangling and sticking together. The ones I purchased from Target did not do that. Most importantly, the taste. It was completely different!! I do not mean different in a good way. All of the flavor is completely gone. They just taste extremely oily and a little smoky with maybe a hint of soy. Something is off about the texture too. The sauce seems to absorb into the noodle, making them slightly gummy. Whereas, the ones I purchased from target, stayed silky and chewy and the sauce remained coated on the outside of the noodle. I don’t know if I just got a bad batch or if they have recently partnered with Asha brands and they have changed their recipe. Maybe it’s possible that they recently parted from Asha and I got an old pack. I’m really not sure. I have no idea but why they’re different but I do know these do not taste like the Momofuku noodles I am accustomed to, and if this is what the product is going to be like moving forward, I will not be purchasing them again. I was able to add soy sauce to make up for some of the flavor, but that jacked up the sodium/MSG level and I’m not really comfortable with that. I shouldn’t have to drown them in soy sauce just to make them edible.
