Basic Wax Modeling: An Adventure in Creativity

I have tried other expensive wax carving books and this one right here is what you want if your just starting out! The first two projects teach you how to basically set up any wax ring correctly and precisely and realistically I just recently bought the next more advanced book and I have not even finished every project in this one I HIGHLY recommend this book

This was the first book I found that walks you through multiple wax carving projects. It was worth the money for me, but if you’re already highly skilled it may not be as useful. I’m glad I bought it.

Starts off with very basic techniques, which is exactly what you need to start learning this craft. Most of the projects are rings, and each one ends with some information about how to more broadly apply the skills used for the project to create any other designs you might think of.

Great overall knowledge of the basics of wax carving. Pictures are helpful.

Can’t wait to try creating some of these.

This book has easy step by step introductions to follow very easy as long as you have the tools that they use in the book.

Hard to find good books on this topic; gives good tips and photos of basic projects. Thanks!
