How do I use the Azolize Professional Automatic BBQ Meat Marinade Injector Gun Kit?  This is my first time even seeing an Injector.

Hello Barbara, Thank You so much for your question regarding our BBQ Marinade Injector Gun! Here are the instructions For You: (worth to mention also is that the BBQ Injector kit comes with a instruction manual with text and images on how to use the product). Might seem like a long list of instructions but once the routine is there it’ll be fine. We will add a product demonstration / instruction video shortly as well.

1. Before first use, disassemble and thoroughly wash all pieces.

2. When reassembling, place the rubber seal in the main part of the injector.

3. Place the tube gasket on the thin rod, with the wider side facing toward the front. Slide the metal disc on top of the pad.

4. Place the rod inside the grooved tube as shown. The injector mechanism will not work efficiently if the grooves are pointing in the wrong direction.

5. Slide the tube into the injector piece.

6. Screw on the back knob.

7. Make sure that the barrel is aligned and screwed on correctly.

8. Adjust the width of the rubber gasket by twisting the back end knob. This will create a watertight seal in the injection tube. Do not over-tighten.

9. Tighten the needle holder.

10. Select the needle of your choice and carefully twist it onto the needle holder. Only a half-twist is necessary. Choose the needle whose holes best correspond with the thickness of the meat and the intensity of the marinade.

Here are the 4 different needle types (images of each needle is shown in the instruction manual with the product kit).

a) Needle 6” for thick meat and chunky marinades.

b) Needle 6” for even distribution of liquid marinades.

c) Needle 3.5” for careful injections of liquid marinades into smaller/thinner meat.

d) Needle 3” for slightly thicker marinades or faster flowing of the marinade into smaller / thinner meat.

11. Submerge the needle in marinade and draw it into the barrel.

12. Control the marinade dispenser by adjusting the numbers on the dial. Each number is equivalent to the amount of ml being dispensed per injection.

13. Insert the needle into the meat. Slowly squeeze the trigger to inject your marinade.

14. Carefully pull the needle out of the meat and insert it again at your next desired injection point. For best results, inject the marinade with a similar space between each injection.

15. When finished disassemble and wash after use. Easy and dishwasher-safe cleaning.
