Q: will these stick to an indoor wall with flat paint? Every other adhesive has not stuck.

Whether the instructions mention it or not, clean the mounting surface* with rubbing alcohol and let it dry. Don't touch anywhere the adhesive is going, or any of the adhesive surfaces. These are acrylic adhesives (unless otherwise specified) so best results are obtained by pressing the clip against the surface for 60 seconds (easy to count) and then leave the clip unused for 24 hours. This allows the acrylic adhesive to bond properly. ________________________________ * Assuming the adhesive pad is already mounted on the clip. If not, the clip must be cleaned with rubbing alcohol also (and no touching the surface where the adhesive pad goes after that). Allow the clip surface to dry before proceeding.

Q: I am thinking of buying these for a desk that goes from a sitting position to standing. Will these allow the cables to move through them?

Up to a certain size of cable they will. It's not like they are spring loaded or anything or put any other kind of pressure on the cable going through the opening. As long as the cable is not bigger than the opening itself, the cable should be free to move within that opening.

Q: will it hold 14 gauge electrical cord?

The opening is actually approximately 0.5 inch by 0.25 inch, large enough to hold several individual 14 gauge wires or an extension cord.

Q: Will it work on brick?

Hello, if your brick surface is powder free and relatively smooth, there is no problem.
