Monitor controls are on front instead of the back.
I'm very happy with my purchase. My old monitor was developing issues (burnout pixels, humming, etc) and I knew I needed to get a new monitor soon. It only took a couple of days for the new ViewSonic to arrive. As a matter of fact, it arrived a day earlier than the estimate given. The monitor and stand were very easy to assemble. The screen image is very clear and sharp. I like the facts that it's adjustable and that the monitor controls are on the front of the monitor. The price was very good for such a good quality monitor.

Using as large travel monitors; working just fine as expected.
I keep buying these. You know the 1920x1080 specs, image quality is LCD. Side viewing is decent. I picked 32" and 1080 so the smallest text & menus remain readable. I could have gone 32" 4K but I just I've have to deal with scaling and all that. Besides, less pixels and for programming on the road, it's fine. Base disassembles easily enough. Tab releases the vertical part of the base, quarter turn to separate. Since it's just me handling, I don't bother putting in the screws; (not a negative, just an understood condition) just be careful turning the monitor else it will fall off the base. I've got a bag to carry two of these when I travel. One has a SFF computer VESA mounted on the back. Not gamer but good CPU/RAM/multimonitor outputs. Whole setup works well. To make it more travel friendly, I carry two individual USB C PD power supplies. One with a USB C PD cable to power the SFF computer. One with a USB C PD cable to power the monitor at 12 volts. (Make sure your PD power supply supports 12 volts; not all do.) Makes travel much lighter. Fun / interesting thing. When the computer is off and monitor having power but sleeping, in certain lighting conditions you may notice the display cycling between red, green, blue, white and off. If you have one, put a small flash up to the monitor when it is powered by sleeping and you'll never be able to unsee this. And I have no idea why they have them cycling the color... perhaps to mitigate stuck pixels?? Anyhow, I like the monitors and will likely buy more. BT recommended

Excellent monitor
I am so impressed with this new monitor. It arrived undamaged and looks terrific. It is exactly as described, quality product. It connected seamlessly with my hub and included a new HDMI cable. The size and height are perfect for my setup. Now I pray it will last as it presently sits for years to come. I will provide an update a year from now. Strongly recommend for anyone sitting on the fence for a new monitor.

Great picture for computer and streaming.
Great 1080p HD picture. Easily switches back from computer viewing via VGA to Roku streaming via HDMI. Sound was ok but bolstered by a soundbar connected via audio output. Aesthetically pleasing. 32 inch size at a great price. Volume for Roku cannot be controlled by remote, you have to physically change the knob of the soundbar if you attach one. Hoping it lasts as long as advertised.

Perfect work computer monitor...
If I had to describe this product, it's surprisingly the perfect work computer monitor I've ever bought. Now this was a gift for my wife. But, I'm looking at this monitor compared to my HP monitor that I bought for myself. No comparison, the ViewSonic looks so much better than the HP. And the ViewSonics cost less but the ViewSonics are much larger. But, the ViewSonics have more intangible value. Something about the display just looks better. Now it still suffers from what most of the monitors in this range suffers from, namely a blurrier display. This is obviously because many are used to 4k displays, which are amazingly much higher in price than it's 1080p counter parts. But, blurriness aside, the color looks much more solid than my HP 27 inch and the on display button press are much better as they are placed in the front of the monitor and are clearly labeled. Some may say well on display buttons aren't such a big deal, but you'll be surprised how many display monitors are placed behind the display. I'm not saying that this is the perfect monitor, but it's definitely a perfect work monitor for productivity. And while I can't recommend this as a entertainment/gaming PC monitor, I can recommend this as a productivity monitor that at 75hz allows for a smooth work at home life.

great budget option
These displays are nice, bright, very vivid, decent refresh rate for office work. My wife isn't a gamer so I couldn't comment on the ability to use for gaming, likely these are ok for older less "refresh rate intensive" games, but if you're gaming, get something with at least 120hz. For office work, these are fantastic. They are only 1080p however, so be aware, my wife normally runs in the 1440p resolution range and she had to step down a little to the max 1080p setting for working from home. Not a con but something to be aware of. Otherwise from a value perspective, fantastic value. She has 2 of these and can run everything she needs with real-estate to spare. Very pleased with this purchase.

Clear picture
I’m loving this larger monitor for work. The picture looks great and the larger screen is helpful for when I’m doing research.
