I can't say enough about this product. I am so impressed with the quality and ease of putting it on and taking it off. The support is amazing and I feel like I'm 6" taller. :) Because this is made so well and at a reasonable price, I just ordered a second one, arriving Monday. The care instructions suggest hand washing and air drying. I wanted to have a spare during this process. I have worn this every day, all day, since I received it last Friday. I can put a camisole on, then the back brace, and then my top. So comfortable and not bulky under clothes. My balance has improved significantly and I was able to take my two dogs (170 lb total weight) out for a long walk, 2 days in a row so far, because I didn't feel like I was going to fall over. Highly recommend!!!

I honestly don’t know why doctors don’t recommend back braces because this has helped me by giving me confidence that my back won’t give out on me while I’m living a much quieter life than I did before my injury. It’s lightweight and has mostly elastic mesh except for the back.

This back brace worked wonders for helping my daughter during Crew season. It helped to keep her posture correct and have her relief from back ache after practice and races. It is truly a good, supportive brace.

I found that the tightening straps of this desigh were lacking as follows: The end velco male/femaie sections were only 2 1/4"x 1", placed onto the ends of a little over 1" wide strap material. The straps feel delicate and unsubstantial, and as there are 2 per side, you end up having to fiddle with 4 end adjustments; as well, these 4 light weight strap ends very easily fall back and behing you when installing, requiring a constant twisting around and searching to retrieve them. And being that there are 4, you need to again fiddle somewhat aligning them at the front center main strap so as to not interfere with the others. Finally, as they are not substantial material, when tightening you are not able to fully pull the back web of straps to there full tightened position. This all may be due to different body types, but I have found that most all of the ones I have tried have this tightening strap problem, too small a velcro area, too flimsy a strap material, and not having sufficent center overlap of the straps to tighten to the full potential. I also recommend ordering an additonal brace one size lower to compare; this may solve the problem I encountered.

I fractured my spine in 4 places in the lumbar (lower) region. I have 3 back braces. One of the braces I even got through our Dr and insurance paid for. It was very pricey! Hundreds. But this brace is my favorite. It goes down far enough to support the lower spine, but also goes up high enough to support the lower part of the thoracic (middle) spine. It has firm stays that provide support and is the most adjustable of all. It is comfortable, once adjusted properly and is easy to get on. Highly recommend!

The picture is a bit misleading, I'll be honest. I thought this would be much easier to wear under my trousers & t-shirt, but the bulk of the item just simply won't allow for this, which ends up being extremely restrictive. As a result, I've not been able to spend a great deal of time wearing this, but the time I did wear it under my PJ's, the warming and supportive effect was relieving and my posture was slightly corrected to further aid the issue. If I discover and easier way to use this, I will update this review.

This back brace is well-designed and well-made. Although it is quite restrictive, it is comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. It is easy to get the fit just right. I wear the brace whilst sitting on a chair, working. It helps to maintain good body posture, and my back feels the benefit by the end of the day. I intend to start back-strengthening exercises and I am sure this will help with that too.

This back brace gives good support and is very comfortable when standing however when sitting the hard top edge digs painfully into my lower rib cage. Maybe I had it on too tight or maybe I need a bit more meat on my bones but it just wasn't comfortable for me when sitting down. Do I recommend it? Not for me but YMMV.

Straight out the pack... tried it around me for general fit... perfect in my case (34"-36" / Medium size chosen). This gives enough overlap on the front of the main belt without excessive 'wrapping' around your body. After fitting the support; properly aligned down the centre of my spine and then pulling in the tensioners on either side; my immediate reaction is WOW, this is the BUSINESS!!. Sorry if this sounds a bit dramatic, but as an on-and-off backache sufferer for years, I can say in all sincerity that this is the BEST back support I've tried yet... and I've tried many. It's really well made, gives great support in the right places, and is very comfortable to wear. If worn under a jumper, nobody would know you've got it on, it's that well shaped. I generally don't like reading 'wow' reviews myself, as they always seem like a solicited advert with no real sincerity. I've done exactly that here however, because it really does deserve it. I was fortunate enough to have received this belt for free, as part of the Vine Review programme. After using it, I would have GLADLY paid for it in the first place... knowing what I know now. Recommended 100% if you're in need of such a support (especially if you've already tried similar belts which are just 'OK').
